I have asked the Lord for many years if I could see His Glory after I read about Moses in Exodus 33:18 “… And he (Moses) said, ‘Please, show me Your glory.’” The morning I awoke to write this, I received a scripture address: Exodus 34:5 “Now the Lord descended in the cloud and stood with him (Moses) there, and proclaimed the name of the Lord.” This verse actually has an end reference of Exodus 33:18-19 which is the verse above and the one I have used as an example in my prayers to see God’s Glory. The Lord is confirming His glory is imminent!
A prophetic explanation of this glory came: “The glory that is coming and will be revealed is a glory that has not been seen on this earth. It is a revelatory glory. A glory that will reveal the hearts and minds of all that it comes in contact with…to turn the hearts of the fathers back to the children and the wayward to the just. For such a time as this it will be revealed.”
"He will also go before Him in the spirit and power of Elijah, ‘to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children,’ and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just, to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.” Luke 1:17.
A promise the Lord gave me was Zechariah 2:10 “’Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion! For behold, I am coming and I will dwell in your midst,’ says the Lord.” Sounds like the Shekinah Glory of God as I have mentioned before. And Leviticus 26:12 “I will walk among you and be your God, and you shall be My people…” this verse is from the ‘Enduring Farmer’ word (found under The Best is Yet To Come ~ The Enduring Farmer located under The Prophetic Archives).
In addition, from my Every Day Light Devotional (pages 118-119): “We need to make the Name and Glory of God (rather than world events) the prime focus of our praying, we then will come closer to the biblical pattern and be more likely to see His glory revealed. When the church gets back to powerful praying then and only then will it get powerful results.”
The difficulty in the prophetic is not always understanding God’s full meaning and especially His timing! As with dreams, the Lord can speak symbolically, metaphorically and literally all in the same message. He speaks through eternity and we see through a glass dimly. Thus, His proclamation to me “Time Will Test It Out” from Let My People Go Dream (recorded under Watchman Dreams Archives) is so applicable to prophecies.
