I was reluctant to post the following dream but I have decided to publish it in faith. I hesitate because the content might disturb you, however, the Lord has confirmed it is from Him and I will go forward. Recognizing similar symbols from People Get Ready Dream (People Get Ready – Believe Miracles Are for Today (believemiraclesr42day.com) was my clue along with God’s words: “Time Will Test It Out”. So, here we go!
I found myself outside of a large government building with other workers. Clue #1, construction workers from People Get Ready Dream. We were ordered to stop working and go inside the building. I left my purse at the outside workstation, but soon became unconcerned about its loss.
The other workers had gone before me as I obeyed the order, I pushed open a large stone door which was part of a wall. The wall separated the work station from the government building. I walked through the door and closed it behind me. I entered the building where people were gathering.
After I entered the government compound, I found myself running outside in the dark night. Clue #2, the black of night except there was no cross lighting up the dark as in my previous dream. I was running west on gravel in a desert with a woman. As I looked south, speeding towards us was a wall (as far as the eye could see) of rats, big rats…they were galloping over fist-sized rocks. En masse and for miles in the wilderness. A frightening sight to say the least.
As the rats neared me, there was a light that shone at my feet from above (like a light from heaven). I shuffled my feet to keep the rats away. The person next to me said “Oh look, they’re very welcoming!” It was a puzzling comment to make about rats. I thought her to be deceived.
I awoke to “LET MY PEOPLE GO” and scripture verses:
Luke 10:11 “The very dust of your city which clings to us we wipe off against you. Nevertheless, know this, that the kingdom of God has come near you.”
Mark 13:22 “For false christs and false prophets will rise and show signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.”
Exodus 8:1b Thus says the Lord: “Let My people go, that they may serve Me.”
In addition, I heard “Neighbor will rise up against neighbor in the great and terrible day of the LORD. Time Will Test It Out”.
With God giving an admonition in “Time Will Test It Out”, I trust this dream to be prophetic. Also, I understand that what limited interpretation I comprehend can be better understood as the Spirit reveals more truth in the future. The meaning as of today suggests that the workers outside (including me) are the Body of Christ. We are outside the world, set apart (separated by the wall of Christ) and not of this world, but in it.
The government (could also represent the world) is going to institutionalize our faith. We were outside (as believers are today) but ordered inside the institution. Notice I left my purse behind. Purse is one’s identity, also money. Could it be that money will not be important at that time? Which brings me to another thought, what if the loss of my purse indicates a cashless society brought in by cryptocurrency?
The solid stone door is indicative of Jesus (He is the rock of our salvation), but it is also a passage way or a passage of time. Notice I closed the door, this is important as it means, there was no going back. That notion also suggested by the orders of the government to be brought inside. We obeyed. You might be thinking, could it be the government of Jesus? No, I don’t think so as why would I be running away from Him in the dark?
By now you know that a dark sky is uncertain or troubling times, aka an end-time sky. And I ran away into the desert…escaping, into the wilderness on a gravel road. An old gravel road often represents God’s highway: “Thus says the Lord: ‘Stand in the ways and see, and ask for the old paths, where the good way is, and walk in it...” (Jer. 6:16). I ran west. West is where the sun sets, the end of a day…the end of days?
I looked south, as in ‘things have gone south’, I saw the onslaught of vermin. I could barely make out the wall of rats in the blackness of night as they were running at break-neck speed. The mass was as far as the eye could see and running over rocks. Rocks indicate a rocky time, stumble stones; accusations; persecution (as in false witness).
The first thought I had of the rats was more plagues are coming. Rats bring Bubonic Plague or a curse, they eat garbage. However, could they be false christs and prophets as the verse in Mark states? If the rats represent people…then, deception – a wicked person; devourer; betrayer (as in “ratting” on someone). Remember what I heard? “NEIGHBOR WILL RISE UP AGAINST NEIGHBOR.”
The comment about the rats “Oh look, they’re very welcoming”, by the woman accompanying me was bizarre. That is why I sensed she represented the elect that could be deceived.
I have prayed for a week to understand the shuffling of my feet illuminated by a light from heaven. The verse in Luke started to make sense. I was wiping the dust off my feet against them as I ran away. The interpretation was confirmed by another scripture address Matthew 10:11-14: “Now whatever city or town you enter, inquire who in it is worthy, and stay there till you go out. And when you go into a household, greet it. If the household is worthy, let your peace come upon it. But if it is not worthy, let your peace return to you. And whoever will not receive you nor hear your words, when you depart from that house or city, shake off the dust from your feet. Assuredly, I say to you, it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for that city!”
I grapple with the full understanding of this dream. Though I sense I have understood the symbols correctly I am baffled by their implication. Only if and when it plays out will the full picture be seen. Truly the Lord has said “LET MY PEOPLE GO...TIME WILL TEST IT OUT”.
Update to Let My People Go! Dream (June 24, 2021):
Interesting that the Lord told me when to post this particular dream. He told me the date and time. I say this because a few hours after I posted, I read the following news articles on June 15th. Could my dream be a precursor to what is to come or has already arrived? Remember the rats running at a fast pace towards me and God’s words, ”TIME WILL TEST IT OUT”? What does 'rat out' mean in your mind? With God's guidance, you be the judge.
