He Who Has an Ear, Let Him Hear

God shouts daily in our physical world, we can see (and hear) it in the course of human events reported in the news cycle.  We can perceive His sadness at the world’s circumstances. 

Yet, God whispers in our ears when He is about to perform His unusual work.  In my experience, He doesn’t shout.  I have received such whispers lately.  It started in July of this year when I discovered one morning that my right ear was not hearing like my left.  I awoke to: Ask the Lord for rain in the time of the latter rain.  The Lord will make flashing clouds; He will give them showers of rain, grass in the field for everyone.  Zechariah 10:1.

Then another address: Revelation 3:22 He who has an ear let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.  This verse references a dream from the beginning of 2022, “Golden Hearings”. 

In the dream, I was trying on a pair of gold diamond lever-back earrings.  I own a pair in real life.  I attempted to put them through my left ear lobe first and it was going through my lobe.  I thought in the dream, “Oh wow!  I am going to be able to wear my earrings again!”  I then wondered if I would be able to insert the right one also because the right ear lobe was closed.  I did not attempt it.  I awoke thinking it was a hopeful dream.   I heard “He who has ears to hear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches."

I promised you that whatever it is He will tell me is coming, I will tell you.  I will proclaim what God is saying.  Seven months after this dream, I am getting a clearer picture of what is on the horizon. 

Now, I don’t believe in coincidences when living in the realm of prophecy.  Because, my left ear is clear and my right ear is the one that is muted just as the dream months earlier symbolized.  I didn’t attempt to put the earring through my right ear in the dream (because it was plugged), only the left was open.  The ear lobe in the dream represents my ability to hear (what the Spirit is saying).  Which says to me, I would be ‘hearing’ out of the left but not my right.  God is using my body as a sign, again!

Of course, I asked for confirmation if this 'ear sign' was of God.  I immediately received Isaiah 64:4: For since the beginning of the world men have not heard nor perceived by the ear, nor has the eye seen any God besides You, who acts for the one who waits for Him.

Bam, that was clear, unlike my ear!  And He continued to clarify.  The next night came a dream, I call it ‘Ask the Lord for the Rain’: Ask the Lord for the Rain – Believe Miracles Are for Today (believemiraclesr42day.com)

More scripture came.  Psalm 49:1-4 Hear this all you people, give ear all you inhabitants of the world… My mouth shall speak wisdom and the meditation of my heart shall bring understanding, I will incline my ear to a proverb.

Then, I heard “Give Ear, You Coastlines”, so I looked it up and found: Give ear, ye islands, and hearken, ye people from afar.  Isaiah 49:1a (notice the same verse number in Psalms and Isaiah, hmmm!).  Also, Isaiah 32:3 The eyes of those who see will not be dim, and the ears of those who hear will listen.

Somehow, my ear as a sign is intertwined with me praying for the “Latter Rain” in Zechariah 10:1.  And, I am contemplative of who is not listening, me?  I hope not, because I am always asking Him what He is up to…Isaiah 65:12 Because when I called you did not answer when I spoke you did not hear but did evil before my eyes and chose that in which I do not delight.  This verse has “A Sign” written by it in my Bible!  So, what am I a sign for in the realm of ‘not hearing’?  I don’t have an answer at this time.  And yet, the Lord continues to confirm He is afoot.

I was taken back when I recently realized that the prayer, I have prayed every day since 2007 for revival (The Shema) means “To Hear” in Hebrew!  See how the Lord intertwines work we have done for Him in the past with what He plans for the future?  I sense He will open both ears now for ‘hearing’ more of what is coming.

More addresses were given: Now the Lord came and stood and called as at other times, “Samuel! Samuel!” And Samuel answered, “Speak, for Your servant hears.” Then the Lord said to Samuel: “Behold, I will do something in Israel at which both ears of everyone who hears it will tingle.” 1 Samuel 3:10-11.

Incline your ear, and come to Me. Hear, and your soul shall live... Isaiah 55:3.

Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. Isaiah 35:5.
