Golden Afflictions Eclipsed by Glory

Have you ever thought God may glorify us on this earth to bring Himself glory and if so, would you be afraid of that? Would you be willing to buy the opportunity? There are certain things in the Kingdom that are not given; they must be bought. Jesus talks about this in Revelation 3:18 when He says, “I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich.”

“Gold is wisdom; God’s glory and mercy; faithfulness; endurance; purity; holiness that endures; a symbol of honor; of high valor; something valuable that endures.” Volkots, John Mark. A to Z Christian Dream Dictionary.

“What is this gold that is refined in the fire? This gold is a purified faith. That the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 1:7.

When we survive the fire, we come out on the other side with a much stronger faith. This gold is refined character. In a word, this gold is Christlikeness. 

When fiery trials have made us more like Jesus, then we have gained true riches. God’s purpose in allowing difficulties, tribulations, calamity, infirmity, persecutions, and hardship to come our way is that we might take advantage of the opportunity and buy gold. A prophetic word from 2010: “And in that day when I bring you forth, all the glory of the Godhead will be upon you. Not for your glory but for Mine. For I will not give My glory to another. I say, you have been found worthy to carry forth My glory in earthen vessels but watch ever so circumspectly, for great would be the fall if the enemy got his way. Keep yourselves undefiled and know it is all for My glory and fame.”

For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily, and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power. Colossians 2:9–10.

In 2015 the Lord gave a dream to alert me to the coming purification process. I had no idea how hard the progression would be in order to be put into ministry.
