In 2015 the Lord gave a dream to alert me to the coming purification process. I had no idea how hard the progression would be in order to be put into ministry. I certainly have paid a high price giving up just about everything this world has to offer.
First scene: I was in an airport amongst a group of people with a common purpose, we were forced into a shower like a prison. I was getting wet, mostly my head, though. I didn’t want to be in the shower.
Second scene: I was with the same group of people as before; we were waiting to get on an airplane. They all had their tickets, but I did not. I had to get help from a “high end” customer service woman to get my ticket. She worked something out and then handed me a bill for what I owed, $1250 for making the arrangements. I was billed in 15-minute increments at $500 each increment, so it must have taken her 37 and a half minutes to get my ticket. I was not happy that it cost me so much.
Third scene: I found myself in line with a Man who was my Boss, He spoke to me, and I answered, “Yes, Boss.” I do not recall what He said to me. We were waiting together to board the plane.
I awoke to a scripture address after prayer: Romans 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
The above verse helps greatly in interpreting the dream. I was in the custody of Jesus with others with like callings soon to be revealed, in an airport, which symbolizes departure from one place in life to the next; waiting, being prepared for ministry; transition. We were having our minds renewed by the shower, hence mainly my head was getting wet – the renewing of my mind.
All had their tickets but me; they had paid the price for their next assignment; I had to pay a higher price. I sought the help of a “high end” customer service woman (perhaps high end means an angel). The price was steep for her help, which was why I questioned why I have to pay a high price? I am paying a high price in terms of all I have had to give up to continue in my calling.
The cost of $1250 is interesting; here is what the numbers symbolize according to The Ultimate Guide to Understanding the Dreams you Dream by Ira Milligan:
1000 - Millennial reign; full maturity; mature service.
100 – Fullness; full measure or reward times two (double) to equal 200. A double portion or a witness.
50 – Jubilee; reconciliation; freedom.
15 (billed in 15-minute increments) – Grace; free; liberty sin covered; Hezekiah was given an additional 15 years after the healing of his affliction.
And the last scene with my Boss was of course Jesus. He is now my Boss as He told me to leave my job for Him just six months before I had this dream. A foretelling announcement of a debt I had to pay…to buy His gold.
“Pain and calamity, it’s extremely precious in your eyes. That deepened character came to you at a great price. You won’t sell it, you won’t squander it, you won’t lose it, you won’t neglect it, you won’t forget it, you won’t trade it, and you won’t give it away. When you buy gold in the fire, it’s yours! The Lord gently says, “The price tag of what you’ve asked for is very high.” When God turns up the heat in our lives, sometimes we find ourselves asking, “But God, why does it have to be so hot?” The Lord has a gentle answer that He wants to whisper to your heart: “The price tag of what you’ve asked for is very high.” Yes, the fire is hot, but the final product (Christlikeness) is worth it!” Sorge, Bob.
