Catch and Release ~ Fishers of Men

Isn’t it true that millions of people have come to our shores and crossed our ‘open’ borders in recent years?  Regardless of the societal repercussions, the Lord opened my eyes to see this phenomenon from a heavenly perspective.  Could it be that God is calling them to our country?  Sure, they come for better economic lives and other reasons too, but what if it’s more?

God is bringing immigrants to our shores by the millions.  I’ve said it before, it’s an opportunity.  God is bringing the people to us, so we don’t have to go to the nations.  The nations are coming to us!  Surely you shall call a nation you do not know, and nations who do not know you shall run to you, because of the Lord your God, and the Holy One of Israel; for He has glorified you.  Isaiah 55:5.

Don’t forget, Jesus went to the Jews (Abraham’s seed) first, but they rejected Him.  Subsequently, God gave instruction to take the Gospel to the Gentiles.  Then Paul and Barnabas spoke out boldly and declared, “It was necessary that we first preach the word of God to you Jews. But since you have rejected it and judged yourselves unworthy of eternal life, we will offer it to the Gentiles.”  Acts 13:46.

For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.  Galatians 3:26–29.

We, in America have benefited from hundreds of years of the Good News.  Yet, we as the ‘church’ have lost our salt.  It’s the same way in our country as in our Lord’s time, Jesus has come to our country, but now most in our country has rejected Him.  Why?  In my opinion, when was the last time you heard a preacher speak on hell and the millions headed down to it?

So, I believe the Lord is going to bring others into His household.  God is not a respecter of persons, but wants all people to be saved.  If we have turned our backs on Him in this country, then He’s going to bring the nations to us that will accept His salvation.  We are the only country with the freedom still to evangelize!

Therefore, bear fruits worthy of repentance, and do not begin to say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father.’ For I say to you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones. And even now the ax is laid to the root of the trees. Therefore, every tree which does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.”  Luke 3:8–9.

The Lord God, who gathers the outcasts of Israel, says, “Yet I will gather to Him others besides those who are gathered to Him.”  Isaiah 56:8.

Like our immigration slogan “Catch and Release”, I hear the Lord saying the same thing.  Catch and release (set the captives free); catch and preach.  He is intent on making us fishers of men!  Then, He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.” Matthew 4:19.

Therefore, what will the Owner of the vineyard do?  He will come and destroy the vinedressers and give the vineyard to others.  Mark 12:9.

Ever since 2020, which I think was a pivotal time on God’s prophetic calendar…I have had dreams regarding the nations coming to us.  Some are listed below.   

Border Crossing Dream; Fly Me to the Moon; Master’s Class; and The Journey Awaits.

In a recent prayer time, the Lord gave me a scripture address.  It was Isaiah 49:22: Thus says the Lord God: “Behold, I will lift My hand in an oath to the nations and set up My standard for the peoples; they shall bring your sons in their arms, and your daughters shall be carried on their shoulders.”  

Simply stated, masses of sinners are about to be saved and brought into the Body of Christ!  They will be brought in through the choppy waters of our times, the end of the age.  I believe the Lord is training and preparing a group of people who will help usher in the souls being sent here.  To catch and release, setting the captives free.

The journey awaits those who are predestined for salvation and also, for us who are called to “catch and release”.  This is the time when all who call upon the name of the Lord will be saved!  Will you play a part in it?  God is looking for those whose hearts He can expand to birth His purposes.

The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, for he has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free.  Luke 4:18.

And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved. Joel 2:32.

PRAY WITH ME:  

Lord, I pray that You anoint me with the anointing for setting the captives free and soul winning. Open my spiritual eyes, so I can see the world and people the way You see them, in their true state. Cause me to hear the cry of the lost, open my eyes to the real harvest fields, places and people that are ripe for the harvest.  In Jesus’ name. Amen.
