Something is going on with my feet!  If you were in my shoes (pun intended), you too, would be suspicious of any continuing body issue.  If you recall the sign of my side lasted almost nine months in 2021 leading up to a prophetic fulfillment.  A Body of Evidence, A Body as Evidence.

I have told you the Lord has used my body as a sign for various prophetic situations since He first announced He would in 2012.  Unfortunately for me, I don’t usually know what my body is a sign for until the Lord reveals it when He brings the prophetic to fulfillment.  I have recorded the fact under Chapter Seven~ My Body, MySistersWalkwithGod.

“I wrote the chapter to document how God can use one’s body as an instrument of ministry for His purpose.  It is only by the Lord’s revelation through prayer and listening that I have been able to discern the source of these occurrences.  Again, I look in scripture to see how God did use the bodies of His servants to express a message.”

Back to my point, feet.  Feet are important as we know, they carry us.  And we carry the Gospel of Peace on our feet to others!  Feet are also indicative of our ‘walk’ with the Lord.

And the health of feet is important to God as well as seeking Him for it.  Have you read about King Asa’s feet?

And in the thirty-ninth year of his reign, Asa became diseased in his feet, and his malady was severe; yet in his disease he did not seek the Lord, but the physicians.  So, Asa rested with his fathers; he died in the forty-first year of his reign.  2 Chronicles 16:12-13.

The Lord prefers us to sit at His feet, worship and hear His word rather than to serve Him!

And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus’ feet and heard His word…And Jesus answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things.  But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her.” Luke 10:39, 41-42.

In contrast, feet are used to ‘tread’ on our enemy as the Lord proclaims.

Behold, I give to you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all manner of power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you.  Luke 10:19.

The foot shall tread it down—The feet of the poor and the steps of the needy. Isaiah 26:6.

I was given a prophecy concerning my feet in 2000 from a pastor friend.  Part of the ‘word’ was how the enemy has sought to hurt my feet.  We are to trample the serpent underfoot and possess our land.  Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given you…Joshua 1:3.

So, what about my feet?  Well, I won’t get into the details but I went to the doctor a second time for the issue.  That morning I wasn’t thinking of my foot as a sign of anything but pain.  My foot was buzzing and my devotional read: “Today's Mission - Take time to sit at His feet today. Let Him know How grateful you are for your salvation.”  Before heading out, Pandora radio played ‘Feet of Jesus’ song by Steven Curtis Chapman.  Feet of Jesus Lyrics | Lyrics.com

And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, who bring glad tidings of good things!”  Romans 10:15.

At the feet of Jesus, I will lay my burdens down
I will lay my heavy burdens down
In the stillness I can hear my Savior calling out
Come to me and lay your burdens down
So, I will lay down my struggles
I will lay down my shame
All the fear I drag around through this life
like a ball and chain
(All my questions and confusion)
I will sing Hallelujah to the One who sets me free
And you will find me at the feet of Jesus

A sweet reminder of Who is in charge and where I should be spending my time.  Then, I received an address of Luke 17:11-19.  Jesus healed ten men with leprosy, only one returned and fell at His FEET (similar to the song)!  God is afoot.

Now on his way to Jerusalem, Jesus traveled along the border between Samaria and Galilee. As he was going into a village, ten men who had leprosy met him. They stood at a distance and called out in a loud voice, “Jesus, Master, have pity on us!”   When he saw them, he said, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And as they went, they were cleansed.

One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God in a loud voice. He threw himself at Jesus’ feet and thanked him—and he was a Samaritan.  Jesus asked, “Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine? Has no one returned to give praise to God except this foreigner?” Then he said to him, “Rise and go; your faith has made you well.
