As I said under the post At His Feet, “I went to the doctor a second time for the foot issue. That morning I wasn’t thinking of my foot as a sign of anything but pain. My foot was buzzing, and my devotional read: “Today's Mission - Take time to sit at His feet today. Let Him know how grateful you are for your salvation.” Before heading out, Pandora radio played ‘Feet of Jesus’ song by Steven Curtis Chapman. Feet of Jesus Lyrics | Lyrics.com.
Then, I received an address of Luke 17:11-19. Jesus healed ten men with leprosy, and one returned and fell at His FEET (similar to the song)!”
Now on his way to Jerusalem, Jesus traveled along the border between Samaria and Galilee. As he was going into a village, ten men who had leprosy met him. They stood at a distance and called out in a loud voice, “Jesus, Master, have pity on us!” When he saw them, he said, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And as they went, they were cleansed.
One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God in a loud voice. He threw himself at Jesus’ feet and thanked him—and he was a Samaritan.
Jesus asked, “Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine? Has no one returned to give praise to God except this foreigner?” Then he said to him, “Rise and go; your faith has made you well.”
I went to my appointment, returned and took a nap. Then, I dreamed. I was in my closet when I saw a box of shoes to give away. The shoes were tan suede with white fleece inside, like what I wear with my foot problem. However, they had high heels! I bet you could guess my real-life shoes have NO high heels.
I knew it was time to give them away; get rid of them. I saw a cane in the corner of the closet; then, I left the closet with strength in my body. Good dream, but it gets better as this was only the first scene!
After prayer, I received some verses. Acts 4:20 For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard. This verse was given to me in 2016 when I dreamed that I was instantly healed as I crossed a street.
Acts 3:16 And His name, through faith in His name, has made this man strong, whom you see and know. Yes, the faith which comes through Him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.
A few symbols to look at which speaks to its meaning. My closet is my place of prayer and miracles; it is a ‘rainbow’ closet. It was also where the Oil in the Closet Miracle happened in 2010. In addition, sister Wendy had me coming out of her closet strong and healed in 2016.
Moving on to my shoes which I have to wear with my foot issue. They were the same ones but with high heels. So strange! High heels mean vulnerability to pain (pinching, discomfort), limited mobility. Yet, could it also mean HEALS (aka heels) as a play on the word and high for a ‘Higher’ healing? Perhaps, not just the foot, but my entire body.
I saw a cane in the closet that I left behind, which would lend credence to my theory. Though, I am careful with the interpretation of my healing dreams, I can’t help but be encouraged by this one. Since I received it immediately after the doctor visit, then add the joyful scriptures, the song and the Lord speaking BEFORE my appointment in the morning leads to a ‘Healing’ conclusion. Perhaps, God is guiding my feet into the way of peace (Luke 1:79) and will use them as a sign of healing to others. I wait at His feet.
As I said before, a very good dream, but it gets better as this was only the first scene! I will continue the remainder of the dream next week. Stay tuned and help me expect a miracle.
