Torah Sighting

Since my husband and I are retired, I am not usually alone.  But the other day, Bobby went to do some errands and I stayed home.  I finished my lunch and headed to take an afternoon nap.  I settled in and fell asleep.  I was startled awake by the brief dream I had as soon as I closed my eyes.

I was back at the table where I had finished lunch, alone.  I looked to my left and was astonished to see a German Shepard standing by my side as I sat by myself!  He was standing at attention with his back towards me, I could not see his face.  I did not touch him as he was not a pet. 

I awoke and thought, was that Torah?   I asked God, “Have You sent a guard dog to protect me?”  If you recall, I adopted a German Shepard a few months ago as told in A Dog Named Torah (was that an Angel?) When I asked Jesus the name of the dog, God replied “Torah”. 

I once again saw Torah when Bobby attended a bible study last night.  I was in my prayer closet; eyes closed and had a vision of him lying by the door.  This time, he was facing inside towards me but quiet, just his presence was calming. 

Then, the Lord gave me verses about this spectacular guard dog.

The Lord is my SHEPHERD, I shall not want... (Psalm 23:1).     

For you shall not go out with haste, nor go by flight; for the Lord will go before you, and the God of Israel will be your REAR GUARD.  (Isaiah 52:12).
