Since I heard the biblical name Gihon Spring when I awoke from the dream of the same name posted 4/2/26 under Gihon Springs ~ The Living Water Dream, I did some investigating; look what I found. And don’t forget I knew in the dream that the land was sacred, but I did not know how consecrated until I looked up the meaning of this water source.
“The Gihon Spring is referenced in the Hebrew Bible, where it is described as the site where Solomon was anointed king. The spring’s waters were considered sacred, and its presence was often interpreted as a divine blessing.
The spring also played a crucial role in Jerusalem’s religious landscape. Jerusalem’s priests and religious leaders often utilized the spring’s waters for purification rites and other sacred ceremonies.
Gihon is one of the four rivers that split off the main stream that watered the Garden of Eden (Genesis 2:13). This connection to the primordial garden imbues the spring with a sense of timeless sanctity, linking the earthly with the divine.
And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed . . . And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads. Genesis 2:8, 10 - 11.
The name of the second river is Gihon; it is the one which goes around the whole land of Cush. Genesis 2:13.
The Gihon Spring is revered as a sacred site; the spring was often associated with divine intervention and blessings. Its waters were believed to have healing properties, making it a destination for those seeking physical and spiritual restoration.”
The Gihon Spring: Historical and Cultural Significance
“The Gihon Spring: A geographical parable is a real “earthly” physical place, which serves to represent a real “spiritual” place and convey a “spiritual” meaning.”

Could this be where heaven intersects with earth? Perhaps the closest place we can get to the Living Waters (from Heaven) in physical form on this earth is the Gihon Spring, an interesting thought.
The waters continue to gush and flow in the same location to this very day after 4000 years!” I would say that is miraculous.
The Gihon Spring and the waters of Siloam are as the Fountain of Youth who is our God! So, LET IT FLOW Lord Jesus.
The day after I posted “What is the Gihon Spring ~ God’s Fountain of Youth”, Jonathan Cahn spoke 4/26/26 on the Fountain of Youth,
“God makes all things new; stay close to God to get renewed and refreshed, that is your Fountain of Youth. The Fountain of Youth is a legend but there is the real Fountain of Youth. I’m not living by the old anymore I’m living by the new; if I do that God says He will renew my strength through the presence of the Lord and the presence of His word. Live in the covenant of newness. Isaiah 40:31. Jeremiah 31:31 A New Covenant. He makes all things new; if anyone is in Messiah he is a new creation. We have that river; this is our faith to become new every day, We all can become new again through the word which refreshes, renews and revives.”
For with You is the fountain of life; In Your light we see light. Psalm 36:9.
In that day a fountain shall be opened for the house of David and for the inhabitants of Jerusalem, for sin and for uncleanness. Zechariah 13:1.
