The Undercurrent by Meef

There is something happening beneath the surface of life’s busy days.

 It’s powerful and constant and righteous.

 It is unexplainable because it is other-worldly.

  It directs, guides, moves, motivates, encourages and manipulates life’s circumstances, without asking for permission or fully explaining its purpose.

 It can be completely ignored, but ignorance does not thwart its accomplishments.

 It is relentless in its pursuit, ever molding, changing, directing the course of life to its desired end.

It can be indignant and rude, interrupting thoroughly mastered plans.

 It can be inconsiderate and unkind. It answers to no one, will not be manipulated or bought off.

 It is purpose driven, faithful, direct and uncompromising and will not change course.

It Cannot be stopped, moves in absolute truth, and shows no favoritism.

 Its energy is boundless, does not succumb to exhaustion and transcends the mortal.

 It processes in the eternal, waits for no one and will not be silenced.

Once I quiet my soul enough to recognize it, I can lean into it and ride its wave, I can Become attuned to its music and step into the story, allowing it to alter my reality.

Or I can refuse to accept its existence, and blindly stumble through life having it hit me in the face every now and then, torturing me with frustration and confusion.
