The Gate Dream

On 7/26/25, I wrote “For almost 3 months the silence from heaven has been deafening in my ears. The Lord’s voice has become increasingly low. This comes after two dreams I had in April that I’m still waiting for confirmation on.”

Confirmation came in the form of two scripture addresses. Both scriptures were given in 2015 after a similar dream to the two I had in April: Break Out ~ From Basement to Parking Garage to FREEDOM. The scriptures were:

Isaiah 62:10 “Go through, Go through the gates! Prepare the way for the people; Build up, Build up the highway! Take out the stones; lift up a banner for the peoples!”

Isaiah 49:11 “I will make each of My mountains a road, and My highways shall be elevated.”

Here is the 2015 dream. I call it the Gate Dream.  I was in line to get something fixed (my body, perhaps), and I noticed a large gathering of people waiting in front of an iron gate that was closed and locked.  They were on a high road (elevated above where I stood), which was fenced, and the gate leading to the road was closed to them.

I reached in my pocket and pulled out a gate opener to open the gate.  I and the others around me were surprised that I had the opener to the gate.  I opened it and a few people were able to enter onto the fenced road, but then the gate closed, to my frustration.  I tried again to open the gate and keep it open when a white delivery truck came barreling through the closed gate.  It broke the gate down and took the fencing with it.

The truck proceeded to drive down the road with the gate and fencing on top of the vehicle.  Now all the people gathered at the gate walked through freely.  Upon waking I heard, “Breakthrough!” 

At the time I prayed for the interpretation of this dream, I had a vision.  In the vision I was praying for a woman who was ill; I remember understanding her pain. 

I believe this is a dream of deliverance included with a prophecy for the future.  I was waiting in line (as I am now) for something which I believe to be my healing (deliverance) and the fruition of God’s words.  I saw a ‘high’ road as in Isaiah 62:10 “Go through, Go through the gates! Prepare the way for the people; Build up, Build up the highway! Take out the stones; lift up a banner for the peoples!”

And, Isaiah 49:11 “I will make each of My mountains a road, and My highways shall be elevated.”

More Scripture addresses:

Isaiah 45:2 “I will go before you and make the crooked places straight; I will break in pieces the gates of bronze and cut the bars of iron.”

Zechariah 9:12 “Return to the stronghold, you prisoners of hope; even today I declare that I will restore double to you.”

Nehemiah 9:9-10 You saw the affliction of our fathers in Egypt, and heard their cry by the Red Sea. 10 You showed signs and wonders against Pharaoh, against all his servants, And against all the people of his land. For You knew that they acted proudly against them. So, You made a name for Yourself, as it is this day.

It appears I may have a part to play in taking down the gate (what is that part?  I do not yet know). Opening the gate was arduous for me as I could only let a few people in at a time until the truck appeared.  It was a white (righteous) delivery (the Lord is our Deliverer) truck. 

So, the truck is God…He comes to break down the gate:  Luke 13:24 “Strive to enter through the narrow gate, for many, I say to you, will seek to enter and will not be able.”  Hence, the proclamation I heard upon waking: “Breakthrough.”

With the breakthrough of God complete, all who are waiting (for deliverance of some sort) to walk through are able without hindrance.  Could this be a reference to the great gathering to come into God’s kingdom through signs and wonders? I wish I could see more clearly.
