Scriptures For Hope & Healing

I thought it might benefit some of you who would like to pray for your healing and the protection of your health to provide a list of scriptures I have used for over twenty years.  

May the Lord hear our petitions as we ask for healing of our minds, bodies and those of others.  Pray His word back to Him, put your name in the verses...He cannot deny His Word!

…I am the Lord your God who heals you.  (Exodus 15:26b)

Worship the LORD your God, and His blessing will be on your food and water…”I will take sickness from among you”.  (Exodus 23:25)

Yet in his disease, he did not seek the Lord, but only the physicians…  (2 Chron. 16:12)

But those who suffer He delivers in their suffering; He speaks to them in their affliction.  (Job 36:15)

O Lord my God, I cried out to You, And You healed me.  (Psalm 30:2)  

A righteous man may have many troubles, but the LORD delivers him from them all… (Ps. 34:19) 

Praise the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits – who forgives all your sins and HEALS ALL YOUR DISEASES, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagles’.  (Ps. 103:2-5)

I shall not die but live and declare the works of the Lord.  (Ps. 118:17)

No evil will befall me; neither shall any plague come near my dwelling.  For the Lord has given His angels charge over me and they keep me in all my ways and in my pathway is life and there is no death.  (Ps. 91:10; Proverbs 12:28)

There is surely a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off.  (Proverbs 23:18)

Lord, by such things men live; and my spirit finds life in them too.  You restored me to health and let me live.  Surely it was for my benefit that I suffered such anguish.  In your love you kept me from the pit of destruction; you have put all my sins behind your back.  (Isaiah 38:16-17)

But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him, AND BY HIS STRIPES WE ARE HEALED.  (Isaiah 53:5)

I am far from oppression, and fear does not come near me.  (Isaiah 54:14)

No weapon formed against me shall prosper, for my righteousness is of the Lord.  But whatsoever I do will prosper for I am like a tree that is planted by the rivers of living water.  (Isaiah 54:17; Ps. 1:3)

"I create the fruit of the lips: peace, peace to him who is far off and to him who is near,” says the Lord, “And I will heal him."  (Isaiah 57:19)

In all their affliction He was afflicted, and the Angel of His Presence saved them; in His love and in His pity, He redeemed them; and He bore them and carried them all the days of old.  (Isaiah 63:9)

For I know the plans I have for you says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not evil, to give you a future and a hope. (Jer. 29:11)

But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds, declares the LORD.  (Jer. 30:17)

There is hope in your future says the Lord…  (Jeremiah 31:17a)

Ah, Sovereign LORD, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm.  NOTHING IS TOO HARD FOR YOU.  (Jer. 32:17) 

“Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?"  (Jeremiah 32:27)

Behold, I will bring it health and healing; I will heal them and reveal to them the abundance of peace and truth.  (Jeremiah 33:6)

Jesus said to him “I will go and heal him”.  (Matt. 8:7) 

This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah: “He took up our infirmities and carried our diseases”.  (Matt. 8:17) 

And He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace and be healed of your affliction.”  (Mark 5:34) 

Then Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your faith has made you well.”  (Mark 10:52) 

Let it be known to you all...that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth...by Him this man stands here before you whole.  (Acts 4:10) 

So that your faith might not rest on men’s wisdom, but on GOD’S POWER.  (1 Cor. 2:5) 

I am submitted to God and the devil flees from me because I resist him in the NAME OF JESUS.  (James 4:7)

 Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord.  And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven.  Therefore, confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.  (James 5:14-16)

I am an overcomer and I overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of my testimony.  (Rev. 12:11)

Christ has redeemed me from the curse of the law.  Therefore, I forbid any sickness or disease to come upon this body.  Every disease, germ and every virus that touches this body dies instantly, in the NAME OF JESUS. Every organ and every tissue of this body will function in the perfection to which God created it to function and I forbid any malfunction in this body, in the mighty NAME OF JESUS.  (Gal. 3:13; Rom. 8:11; Gen. 1:31; Matt. 16:19)
