If you have read my book and this website for any length of time you know God has put in me a heart for revival.  As a prophetic intercessor, my job from God is to be concerned for and praying in revival.  But on a personal note, honestly, more than I want the great end-time revival…I want a personal revival.

The other night, I dozed while watching TV and had a quick vision.  I saw my dark closet with one single candle burning in the dark.  One candle, all by itself, flickering in the night.

My soul clings to the dust; revive me according to Your word.  Psalms 119:25.

Is that selfish?  Yeah, I guess so.  I am human and I would be pretty envious if the whole world had revival and I was left behind.  So, my heart’s desire is a personal revival in body, mind and Spirit!

Revive me, O Lord, for Your name’s sake!  For Your righteousness’ sake bring my soul out of trouble.  Psalm 143:11.

Praying for the great end-time revival can be rather ominous and nebulous.  But if I pray for personal revival for myself then, I can spread that revival to others.

Revive me according to Your lovingkindness, so that I may keep the testimony of Your mouth.  Psalms 119:88.

I can believe if it happens for me, it will happen for others, too.  Maybe that’s where God wants us to start.

Hear my voice according to Your lovingkindness; O Lord, revive me according to Your justice.  Psalms 119:149.

It is my desire that I will be a candle to light the dark world around me in order to ignite a candle in those I come across.

Consider how I love Your precepts; Revive me, O Lord, according to Your lovingkindness.  Psalms 119:159.

The Lord has promised my eyes will see what is on the horizon: “Oh, the unimaginable has been planned for your eyes; oh, the unintended will be the norm of the day, the ‘I can’t believe what just happened’ will be the due course.  Yes, this is unbelievable, but I can do miracles even in your day and age.”

Turn away my eyes from looking at worthless things and revive me in Your way.  Psalms 119:37.

Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me.  Psalms 138:7.

Let us be Keepers of His Flame.  So, join me in praying for our own personal revivals and let’s see what God shows us and where He takes us!

He makes HIS servants a Flame of Fire.  Psalm 104:4.
