“My daughter, believe Me for the works I do and believe Me for who I am in you. But greater works than these you will do. Just believe. Believe miracles are for today. Believing is receiving, your joy will be full.”
“And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.” (John 14:13).
“You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.” (John 15:16).
The above scripture verses and prophetic word were received from the Lord on August 17th, 2009. I am surprised that God has asked me to write a second account of answered prayer and miracles. This is because my first book, My Sister’s Walk with God was recently published by Covenant Books Publishing.
I told the Lord that there were so many unanswered promises in my first book that I thought people would ask me “what happened?” I would have no answer for them. So, both God and I would look like fools. After I told the Lord this, I felt led to start on a second book (and website) writing in faith and anticipation of what Jesus is going to do through additional signs, miracles and answered prayers that are yet to come. I believe this book will be a fulfillment of His prophecies and promises that I recorded in My Sister’s Walk with God.
In May 2010, once again the Lord reiterated what He told me in 2009. During the Oil in the Closet miracle recounted in My Sister’s Walk with God, pages 82-84, Jesus said to me “Believe miracles are for today, just believe and your joy will be full.” Then in 2015, I dreamed of my deceased father-in-law, Jaime. Jaime repeated what God had spoken to me three years earlier, but this time in the dream he said: “I now believe miracles are for today.”
The Lord reminded me of another prophetic word He gave me years ago pertaining to His prophetic words:
“Daughter, you stress, you stress over words that I have spoken and yet, I am always ready and watching over every word out of My mouth. Like a mother brooding over her eggs to watch that they hatch healthy and on time, like much of nature, I am always watching over My word to perform it and to make sure it performs what I purpose from it. My mouth and the words I proclaim are Spirit and Life - they are not dead as man’s word, dormant as his stories, but always living, always breathing depth into the history of mankind.
My words are selected very carefully to perform what I purpose. Remember the statement, ‘to establish the work I have made the words to perform. To establish the work, I will make the words to form?’ This is My job and My duty. I am always watching over My words. And yet, the hearer has some responsibility to hear, to believe, to act, and to rest. Then, that is fruitful ground for My words (like seed) to grow into life and action. But if the hearer of the word is unbelieving and faithless, the words lie dormant in their life.
There are other words that I give that when sowed in your ears, are brought to life without faith. These are the words of prophecy that will be future history of human events. Those words are agreed upon in heaven and heard (understood and acknowledged) by you and brought to life, where two or three witnesses bring the word to life. Think this not strange but the power of prophecy, My spoken future word, in action. Yes, words are powerful; they are seed to the Sower and the crop is fulfilled prophecy.”
“Then He spoke many things to them in parables, saying: ‘Behold, a Sower went out to sow. And as he sowed, some seed fell by the wayside; and the birds came and devoured them. Some fell on stony places, where they did not have much earth; and they immediately sprang up because they had no depth of earth. But when the sun was up, they were scorched, and because they had no root they withered away. And some fell among thorns, and the thorns sprang up and choked them. But others fell on good ground and yielded a crop: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. He, who has ears to hear, let him hear!’” (Matthew 13:3-8).
This book is not about me though it is about my experiences with the living God. I write to commemorate the glory of God. In addition, it is for His magnificence and fame as He will not give His glory to another and His name will be a praise in all the earth. May the Lord fill these pages as I bear witness to future miracles and fulfilled promises; and as I do, you will experience firsthand the accounts of the wonders of the living God.
As so duly titled by this book, ‘Believe Miracles Are for Today’, I believe a miracle is that which is impossible with man but possible with God. I trust God likes impossible odds and as such, makes room for the possible. I sense there are many more wonders the Lord is going to pour out shortly! Further fulfillment of God’s prophetic words dating back to the late nineties about societal breakdown and pestilence (the pandemic) have also come to pass.

Then, most recently in 2022 sadly the Lord fulfilled His words to my former church resulting in the death of the Head Pastor. God began telling me of His movement months before, requesting I post the material on a certain date which paralleled the church's change-up.

As I prayed for confirmation that the writing of this book was for God’s glory and His will, during a prayer time my bible fell open to “…Do not be afraid, only believe” (Mark 5:36). And written in the margin of my bible and referencing back to my journal of 2010 it read: “Believe miracles are for today.”
“So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.” (Isaiah 55:11).
“I have sworn by Myself; the word has gone out of My mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, that to Me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall take an oath.” (Isaiah 45:23).
And “Behold I send My messenger and he will prepare the way before Me. And the Lord whom you seek, will suddenly come to His temple even the Messenger of the covenant in whom you take delight. Behold He is coming says the Lord of hosts.” (Malachi 3:1).
Just believe.
