I am starting to understand what “Go in Peace” really means.  I have already learned that “Go in Peace” means “Go into Peace” in the Greek.  Through prayer, I heard the Lord speak.  “Covenant of Peace”, He whispered.  'Doesn’t that sound lovely', I thought “I wonder if that is in the Bible?”  I investigated more on what I had heard and found Ezekiel 34:25-31 (Covenant of Peace).  This covenant can also be found mentioned in Isaiah 54:10 and Ezekiel 37:24-28.

It is not a coincidence that God unplugged my ear at the same time that He spoke of a covenant. I said in the post: He Who Has an Ear, Let Him Hear, “Seven months after the ‘Golden Hearings’ dream, I am getting a clearer picture of what is on the horizon.” I believe the Spirit was preparing us for the Covenant of Peace!

While attempting to understand the Covenant of Peace, I discovered a book titled by the same name.  I read the book.

“In the scriptures, God states that He will establish a Covenant of Peace with His people. This covenant incorporates a number of blessings from God Himself. Each of the components of the covenant collectively represent peace. Peace of mind, body and spirit. When your physical, psychological, financial, and spiritual needs are met satisfactorily, you enter a place of peace in your life. This would then be a fulfillment of the Covenant of Peace. The Hebrew word for peace is shalom, which has additional meanings such as to be happy, well and healthy along with prosperous.” Saunders, Shawn, The Covenant of Peace.

But I was still unsure how to enter into God’s peace and His covenant.  During this time of searching, I began to sing a song in my spirit: “I have peace like a River”:   I've Got Peace Like A River - Bing video

And then, an address came to confirm this path was of Him: Isaiah 66:12 For thus says the LORD: “Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream...

In addition, the Lord gave an address of Deuteronomy 16:15 about keeping the Feast of Tabernacles aka Sukkot... Seven days you shall keep a sacred feast to the Lord your God in the place which the Lord chooses, because the Lord your God will bless you in all your produce and in all the work of your hands, so that you surely rejoice. The Feast which is in the autumn season fell on 10/10/22 this past year.

And, the counsel of peace shall be between them both.  Zechariah 6:13b.  The Lord wanted me to keep the feast and enter into a Covenant of Peace with Him.  It was a date, 10/10/22!  Let’s look at what Ezekiel says about the Covenant of Peace:

Ezekiel 34:25-31

25 I will make a Covenant of Peace with them and cause wild beasts to cease from the land; and they will dwell safely in the wilderness and sleep in the woods.

26 I will make them and the places all around My hill a blessing; and I will cause showers to come down in their season; there shall be showers of blessing.

27 Then the trees of the field shall yield their fruit, and the earth shall yield her increase. They shall be safe in their land; and they shall know that I am the Lord, when I have broken the bands of their yoke and delivered them from the hand of those who enslaved them.

28 And they shall no longer be a prey for the nations, nor shall beasts of the land devour them; but they shall dwell safely, and no one shall make them afraid.

29 I will raise up for them a garden of renown, and they shall no longer be consumed with hunger in the land, nor bear the shame of the Gentiles anymore.

30 Thus they shall know that I, the Lord their God, am with them, and they, the house of Israel, are My people, says the Lord God.

31 “You are My flock, the flock of My pasture; you are men, and I am your God,” says the Lord God.

Notice, in verse 29 God says He will raise up a garden of renown.  I wonder if it has something to do with the Garden of Shalom that I had in a vision before the Lord spoke of the Covenant of Peace?  I am hoping His Spirit will continue to illuminate the meaning as I believe it is for all of us who will “Just Believe” and take Him at His word.

In addition, if you have gone through the Forgiveness Project (Forgiveness Project) with me, then you are ready for the Covenant of Peace and the natural progression for Gods healing.  Next time, we will break down what God means by a Covenant of Peace.  Shalom!
