Open Heavens ~ The Head, Not the Tail

Dreams can be funny, and they can also have a ‘Yuck’ factor.  This is the case with a dream recently given six months after signing the Covenant of Peace.  It’s funny how God insults us to get our attention so that we will dig deeper for the meaning of what He is saying to us—and this dream was no different.  

“For God may speak in one way, or in another, yet man does not perceive it.  In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls upon men, while slumbering on their beds, then He opens the ears of men, and seals their instruction.”  (Job 33:14-16).

In the short dream, I see my beloved female dog, Bahia.  She passed away a while ago.  This is where it gets yucky.  I separated her head from her body as I lightly touched her neck.  I saw her spine as it separated then, her head developed legs!  The head left her body behind and followed me as I walked off.  See, I told you this was a weird one!

I knew this was from God because it was so odd and had Bahia in it as a symbol.  But why did the Lord use Bahia as a symbol besides being a precious pet?  It dawned on me that Bahia represents a miracle in my life, as she was miraculously returned to us after being stolen in 1991.  I recount the story of Bahia’s miraculous return on pages 21-22 of My Sister’s Walk with God.  Bahia’s Miraculous Return.pdf (covenantbooks.com)

Additionally, she was in the dream: “Resurrecting the Covenant”.  In that dream, I had resurrected Bahia by blowing into her nostrils.  I saw the casket she was buried in but then, miraculously she was alive.  The dream represented the time had arrived to resurrect something precious.  What are more precious to me than the promises of God in a covenant? 

At the time of that dream in 2021, the Lord requested I record our 2007 covenant on this website, resurrecting the promises He and I made to one another years prior.  He was getting ready to fulfill that covenant and faithfully did in 2022.

Now, back to the yucky dream since we have context.  Bahia’s body (tail included) represented the old 2007 covenant which is no longer in effect ~ separated from the Head (Jesus).  Because He has fulfilled it and we are in a new Covenant of Peace.  Her head not only symbolizes God following me, but it also represents the final ‘crown’ or ‘topper’ to that 2007 covenant…Revival.

This is the one promise yet to be executed from the old covenant, still following me.  After praying further, I received scripture to help me process a greater meaning.  Deuteronomy 28:12-13.

The Lord will open to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow. And, the Lord will make you the head and not the tail; you shall be above only, and not be beneath, if you heed the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you today, and are careful to observe them.

Doesn’t the Lord have a sense of humor?  In other words, as I obey the Lord in our ‘new’ covenant, I can expect to have victory in all areas of life while He fulfills His end.  Certainly, this goes with what we have learned about the Covenant of Peace over the last couple of months.  He has already opened the windows of heaven to give us rain on our land unbelievably!

Hence, by using Bahia in this dream meant that the old covenant (tail) has past and the Head follows me into the new covenant.  The miraculous is possible…but not just possible, probable and on its way, soon to be revealed.  The Lord used an unusual dream to confirm to me that our old covenant is past and our new covenant is following me.

God can do it for all who enter into His Covenant of Peace on a personal basis.  I hope this encourages you to covenant with our Lord to see Him work on your behalf.  It will be miraculous!
