Deleted Book and a Rainbow

I embarked on writing My Sister’s Walk with God in November 2017.  Requested by little sister Wendy to record my unique walk with the Lord Jesus, I did as I was asked. 

By December 2018, I had the book mostly finished.  I needed to read it in its entirety and ask the Lord for any further stories or scriptures He wanted to add.  But then, I accidentally wrote over my book (basically, deleting it) and its backup on a thumb drive!  Yes, I did that!  How or why, it escapes me to this day. 

I wailed in agony and hysteria.  My husband grabbed the computer with thumb drive intact.  He drove it to a well-known retail computer fixit store.  They reported back to us that the document (my book) on the computer and thumb drive was unrecoverable.  There was nothing more they could do.  I was beside myself similar to a breakdown!

Wendy showed up during the fiasco and calmly prayed for a resolution.  Once the computer was brought back to me, I right clicked on I don’t know what and a ‘previous version’ appeared of my book.  I had lost a couple of weeks of data but the remainder of the book was intact!  Now how could a novice like me retrieve the document but a ‘computer expert’ could not?  I chose to believe my book reappearing was God’s handiwork.

The conclusion of the book coincided with another wonder.  Rainbows started appearing on the rug next to my bed.  The rainbows appeared after the Lord told me that my newly remodeled closet looked like a rainbow (with the different colors displayed in different forms). 

In April 2019, I started praying how to print the book.  I felt I would have to duplicate it at a Kinko’s/FedEx copy store, making a few copies for my family.  I never thought of publishing as it would be too ‘out there’ for a publisher. 

But one evening I saw an ad on television that I've never seen before or since.  It was for Covenant Books (a Christian publisher).  The commercial said "Do you have a story that God wants you to tell?"  I contacted them the next day via email for information.  They (Ashley) got back to me within a day while I was praying again for whom to use.  I heard the Lord’s voice: “And this will be a sign to you... that after the rain comes the rainbow."

I sent Covenant the manuscript in the beginning of July 2019 and the same day Ashley called me.  She had the book in for review.  That day I received a rainbow cross on my floor that actually changed colors before my eyes (it was this rainbow cross that I used for the book’s front and back covers).  

Ashley called and told me they wanted to publish my book.  In addition, as a sign that this was from the Lord, she sent me the contract on my birthday!  God's book was birthed, and I was in shock.

After a day of prayer and reading over the contract, I signed it.  I sent the contract to Ashley via email.  The time recorded on the email was 10:10!  The 10:10 phenomena that has continually followed me since 2007.  I was in awe that the contract was time stamped with that enigmatic time. 10:10 Mystery Prophecy.

As I prayed about what the Lord was going to do with the book I had written, a dream came back to me.  The dream was from 2016 and in the dream, I was shopping in a bookstore for a new God journal.  When I opened a beautiful blue book, I was surprised to see all my journal entries in the supposedly empty journal.  A woman standing next to me smiled and indicated that she had already read the book! 

Upon waking I heard the Holy Spirit say, “Take your dreams off the shelf”.  I take this as a prophetic dream from three years earlier as a foretelling of the publication of this work.  In other words, from rain to rainbows.  Just believe.
