I was mad the morning I woke up and received a scripture address of Isaiah 54:1.  I didn’t look it up because I know the verse and was angry at God for my feet and situation.  I ignored Him.  Later in the morning, Bobby’s niece Sara came over with her three young boys.

As they walked through the house, I thought of my feet and how I yearn to be whole again.  Then, a dream came back to me.  It is from 2016 with my feet beautiful and wearing sandals.  I was going to an amusement park with kids.  I said to the Lord: “If You heal me, I will go to a park with Sara and the kids.”

I got Isaiah 54:1 again, thinking about the dream.  I decided to look it up to see if God gave me that verse for the dream. And He did!  The dream is pretty cool.

In 2016, I saw my feet up close; they were normal and pretty in sandals.  I was changing into summer clothes to go to an amusement park.  A family was waiting for me.  After I dressed, I put on beautifully colored jewelry beads around my sandaled feet.

I was running late.  Kids from Bobby’s side of family were riding bikes on our property.  As they waited, they began to shout ‘Bebo is here’ (Bebo is Sara’s grandfather, who is now in heaven).  I decided to bring a more comfortable pair of shoes to change into for a long day.  I awoke to scripture and a song (Walking on Sunshine by Katrina and the Waves):

Now I'm walking on sunshine, whoa
I'm walking on sunshine, whoa
I'm walking on sunshine, whoa
And don't it feel good?

Isaiah 54:1 “Sing, O barren, you who have not borne! Break forth into singing, and cry aloud, you who have not labored with child! For more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married woman,” says the Lord.

As well as Ephesians 6, the Gospel of Peace on my feet.  And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying: “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men!”  Luke 2:13-14.

As I contemplated this seven-year-old dream, I asked the Lord: “What are YOU saying?”  Wonderfully, He quickly answered with three verses:

Luke 3:16 John answered, saying to all, “I indeed baptize you with water; but One mightier than I is coming, whose sandal strap I am not worthy to loose. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.  Interesting, as I was wearing sandals in the dream.

Malachi 4:6 He will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers...”  Interesting, as there were children and a father in the dream.

Luke 5:10… “Do not be afraid. From now on you will catch men.”  Interesting, as this is a reference to spreading the Gospel.

The dream symbols speak of joy and an amusement park, carefree in summertime.  An opportune time for feet to spread the Gospel.  Of course, Jesus wore sandals to spread His good news.  And the jewelry is reminiscent of gifts of the Holy Spirit.

Lastly, Sara didn’t move to California until 2020 when I met her; this dream was in 2016.  Bebo is her grandfather from Bobby’s cousin’s side of the family and she has children (3); meaning fun, new believers and child-like.

So, the scriptures I received in 2016 in conjunction with the 2023 verses all point to children and the Gospel being spread.  Which easily leads to the conclusion that this dream is predicting I will be used to spread the good news to that side of the family.  I am living in faith that it also means my feet will be pretty again in sandals and my legs strong enough to go to a park!
