JERSEY GIRL

The tapestry of our lives is God’s handiwork if we let Him weave into it.  God will weave in and out the thread of His mercy and grace through the pattern of our years.  As we grow older, the tapestry grows larger.

Sometimes we can see the threads of mercy and grace ~ we catch a glimpse.  But most times we cannot.  These tendrils of His care cannot always be seen by the naked eye but only through the eyes of faith as the Spirit reveals. And so, it is with this dream.  I could not see the thread of the Lord’s kindness until the Spirit opened my eyes to the tapestry. 

After I had the FIRE SEASON dream on March 1^st, the Lord sent another. What’s interesting it was given fifteen days after the first on March 15^th.

Why do I bring up the number fifteen? Because, it is a significant number when looking at the dream and understanding what the number means adds more clarity to the understanding.

Fifteen equates to Grace: free; liberty; salvation; freedom; pardon; a reprieve; rest; energy that’s found within acts of divine Grace.

In the dream, I saw a black and white cow running loose in unsafe areas; it needed to be brought home safe. Finally, its Owner coaxed it back to a fenced pasture. I saw the cow go into the green pasture and lay down quiet; like “I’m safe; I can rest now.”

I woke thinking of green pastures. I heard the song by: SELAH | God Leads His Dear Children Along

In shady, green pastures, so rich and so sweet,

God leads His dear children along;

Where the water’s cool flow bathes the weary one’s feet,

God leads His dear children along.

Refrain:

Some through the waters, some through the flood,

Some through the fire, but all through the blood;

Some through great sorrow, but God gives a song,

In the night season and all the day long.

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you. Isaiah 43:2.

In prayer, I heard ‘JERSEY GIRL’. I was born in New Jersey. Hence, I was the Jersey cow! And, Psalm 23:1-3. The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake.

As I am portrayed as a cow; I could be insulted, so I asked: “Why a cow and not a sheep?”  I am portrayed as a cow because a cow gives milk also can be slaughtered for meat. I am not just following the Lord; I am producing for Him. The cow symbolizes provision; or an oppressive situation or weighty burden. The cow is me, a producer with a heavy burden, my affliction. Moooo!

Whether it be milk or meat, I am a producer for the Lord on His website… a Jersey Girl. That is how the Lord told me the cow represented me because I was born in New Jersey!

The cow (me) running loose in unsafe areas, needed to be brought home safe. This speaks of the fear, doubt and dread for the future I can have. These are the unsafe areas that the Lord is talking about, where I can travel to.

The grass illustrates the green pastures of God; life, rest; and spiritual life.

Soon after the dream, I listen to Jonathan Cahn. “Every second thinking about your problem; how about taking a rest from that problem because you’re not going to solve the problem if the problem is consuming you. Get away from the problem, forget the problem; get back to God. We are going to fall, every Saint falls, but the point is this walk is not about walking perfectly it’s about what you do after you don’t walk perfectly. You get up and you go with His grace. You keep going and you finish the course; you finish the race.”

I got scripture: I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. John 10:9.

 ‘For thus says the Lord God: “Indeed I Myself will search for My sheep and seek them out. 12 As a shepherd seeks out his flock on the day he is among his scattered sheep, so will I seek out My sheep and deliver them from all the places where they were scattered on a cloudy and dark day. 14 I will feed them in good pasture... There they shall lie down in a good fold and feed in rich pasture on the mountains of Israel. Ezekiel 34:11-12, 14.

A week later, my favorite ‘spy’ organization posted a black and white cow being directed into a car. The owner found it and was taking it home! No kidding…

One hour after I posted this dream, I had a visitor to this site from the city in NJ that I was born in! No kidding:)

More cows roaming in unsafe areas...Nearly 200 cows disappeared. The case remains cold.
