As we conclude this series on angels, I wanted to take some time to review what we have learned.

Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.  Hebrews 4:16.  Gods Mercy sear where the cherubim dwell.  Above it were the cherubim of glory overshadowing the mercy seat. Of these things we cannot now speak in detail.  Hebrews 9:5.

“Angels are just a means of communication from the God who communicates. Through what angels say and do, God personally expresses his friendship to us and his fatherhood and much more. What’s important is the message angels bring—not the messengers themselves…Angels are God’s servants (and so are we) angels are immortal (and so are we) angels have personality (and so do we).

Getting a glimpse of angels doesn’t depend solely on what form God happens to give them. Scripture lends support to the fact that the Lord must open our eyes before we can see them.

More importantly, Scripture gives no basis for assuming angels will serve and help non-Christians. The Bible describes angels as “ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation” (Hebrews 1:14). Who are these people destined to “inherit salvation”? The Bible makes it clear that this refers only to those who come to know Christ as Savior. It’s to serve only them that angels are sent.” Jeremiah, David. Angels: Who They Are and How They Help--What the Bible Reveals.

When we look at the nature of angels, we will learn a lot. They have behaviors that we would do well to mimic.  We have looked at the hierarchy of angels and seen their various jobs as best we can.  So, from that we can glean behaviors that bring glory to our God that we are to emulate.

From seraphim, we learn we are to proclaim the holiness and magnificence of God.  From cherubim, we are to be guardians of the Lord’s name and His glory.  And, like throne angels, we are to reflect the brilliance of God's wisdom.

As for the Archangels, Phanuel teaches us (like his name) to be one who “(He) Turns to God”.  Uriel shows us to claim “God is my Flame”.  While Raphael represents one of the most important attributes of God, healing.  Trusting God to bring us healing, physically, mentally and emotionally, as well as bringing healing to others as God shows us how.

In Gabriel, we can learn (being true to his name) to keep God as our strength.  The Lord God is my strength; He will make my feet like deer’s feet, and He will make me walk on my high hills. Habakkuk 3:19.  And, Michael, to keep the Lord in His preeminence because He alone is God.  Michael also shows us how to deal with Satan; in addition, the importance of prayer and to love Israel.

From A Company of Angels dream: we know that we don’t lose our guardians as we age; angels bring instruction, comfort, guidance and answered prayer from God; and they are curious about us as we are curious about them.

But I think the most important attribute of angels to mimic is their rejoicing and WORSHIP of the Lord and His works.  Such as when a sinner repents!  They rejoice when one sinner repents.  Jesus says, “There is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents” (Luke 15:10).  It sets off a party in heaven whenever someone on earth recognizes his need for the Savior and responds correctly.

What we learn from angels is that they praise God as they see what’s going on in the earth.

Praise the Lord from the heavens; praise Him in the heights!  Praise Him, all His angels; praise Him, all His hosts!  Psalm 148.

And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.”  Luke 2:13-14.

All the angels stood around the throne and the elders and the four living creatures and fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God.  Revelation 7:11.

And lastly, we worship El Shaddai, the Lord God Almighty alone!

And when I had heard and seen them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who had been showing them to me. But, he said, “No, don’t worship me. I am a servant of God, just like you and your brothers the prophets, as well as all who obey what is written in this book. Worship only God!” Revelation 22:8-9.

Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.  Revelation 19:10b.

I wanted to mention why I did not include a teaching on fallen angels in this series.  Mainly because, as I told a friend, I do not like to soil God’s website with information on Gods’ enemies.  Perhaps in the future, the Lord will call me to do such, but I am happy to say He has not requested that of me yet.

I hope you have enjoyed this series on angels as much as I have had writing it.  Glory to God in the highest!  Amen.

For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39.
