I Choose to Believe, The Miracle of the Deaf Ear

If you haven’t read the Garden of Shalom vision which had me entering the Garden of Peace, I must reiterate it for this miracle.

“I entered a garden through a gate where Jesus was at the entrance.  He was glowing so all I could see was His brilliant white image, no features that I could pick out.  As I entered the gate, we hugged, and I saw myself melt into Him and His glow.

The garden had beautiful white dazzling light, greenery and a bench to rest.  The Garden of Shalom.  I received scripture: The sun shall no longer be your light by day, nor for brightness shall the moon give light to you; but the Lord will be to you an everlasting light, and your God your glory. Isaiah 60:19”

After the above vision and later in the same evening, I watched a movie titled; “Henry Poole is Here.”  The movie tells the story of a dying man (Henry) who returns to his hometown before he dies.  The house he bought recently had its stucco redone.  However, on the outside wall of the structure was (what he thought a water stain) the face of Jesus.

As the movie progressed, a bloody tear appeared as he continued to deny the face’s impact on people.  Two young girls were healed when they touched the wall (one was mute and one was almost blind).  In one segment of the movie, Henry asked the blind girl “Do you really believe the face on a wall healed you?”  The young girl answered; “Yes, because I choose to believe.”

Henry became so enraged at the wonder that he took a sledge hammer to the wall which caused it to fall on him.  He ended up in a hospital and after numerous tests, no fatal disease was found…he was healed!  A very sweet faith induced movie.  

The next day, I thought what a lovely movie and if only it were a true story.  I moved on.  Later in the day, I was in my den putting away paperwork with my deaf right ear still bothering me for almost two months.  I finished my task and was ready to leave the room when my right ear popped (like a cork was popped inside the ear).  It frightened me as I heard a tuning fork go off in my ear.  I was scared, prayed and thought “Oh brother! What now?”

I went and sat on my patio, frightened by what happened.  As I sat outside, I noticed I could hear the neighbor’s tree cutting in my right ear!  I thought “No Way!”  So, I tested it throughout the day into the evening and after my shower, it was still unplugged!  Did I receive a miracle, Lord?  I think I did; I believe I did.  I received a notable miracle!

For, indeed, that a notable miracle has been done…and we cannot deny it.  Acts 4:16.

My ear had been plugged with little ability to hear for almost two months, but now I hear clearly even normal T.V. sounds loud.  I asked God and received scripture addresses which reference one another regarding what happened.😊

And this report about Him went throughout all Judea and all the surrounding region. (Jesus raises the son of the widow of Nain and people heard the report, again hearing). Luke 7:17.

However, the report went around concerning Him all the more; and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by Him of their infirmities.  (Jesus cleanses a leper). Luke 5:15.

 Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. Isaiah 35:5.

I sense the Lord will use this miracle of healing my deaf ear to encourage us in believing ‘Acts and Wonders’ will be a part of the Latter Rain forecasted.  I continue to praise Him and thank Him for showing me that someone can receive an instant miracle in the body, I know it happens, but never before to me.  At the time of this post, it has been four months since the miracle and my ear remains clear.

A friend visited recently and my husband called to him from inside our house.  I told the friend he was being called and he said, “Huh? I have my hearing aids in and I can’t even hear him!”  I laughed and thanked God again for my miracle.   Now, I know physical healing miracles can take place and that fuels my faith to wait for the greater healing I am anticipating from Him.  Because I choose to believe!

The Lord God has opened My ear; and I was not rebellious, nor did I turn away. Isaiah 50:5.
