A few days after the Latter Rain was announced by the Lord as told under (The Latter Rain on Its Way), I awoke to Revelation 7:17 For the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.

Then, more verses came which took me back to a significant dream (the verses the Spirit gave referenced the same dream in my Bible)!  That is how I knew God was getting my attention.

So it shall be, when the Lord your God brings you into the land of which He swore…to give you houses full of all good things, which you did not fill, hewn-out wells which you did not dig, vineyards and olive trees which you did not plant - Deuteronomy 6:10-11.

Then, I will give you the rain for your land in its season, the early rain and the latter rain, that you may gather in your grain, your new wine, and your oil. And I will send grass in your fields for your livestock, that you may eat and be filled.’ Deuteronomy 11:14-15.

So, what was the dream and why is it of importance now?  At the time of the dream, it was a dream of provision and reward for finishing the difficult prayer assignment of casting out a jezebel spirit.  But first, let me recount the dream for you and while I do, I am asking the Lord to reveal its deeper understanding for today.

I was outside inspecting the strong large, stoned foundation of a house I had just purchased.  It was located in the ‘east’ and it had a large well on the grounds.  A small group of people showed me around the property and explained that it rained a lot.  As a result, the house’s well was always full with the rain of heaven.

The grounds were incredibly lush with grass, trees, shrubs, flowers, all drinking in the rains.  It was magnificent and nothing like I had ever seen before.  I was shocked that I paid only $144,000 for the property.

I found myself standing in the dining room next to the kitchen and there was a large rectangular table set up for a banquet with 12 chairs next to windowed doors looking out onto the expansive lush grounds. I was waiting for my guests.

The phone rang and an evil woman said she was coming over to beat me up.  I was not afraid as I hung up the phone.  The evil woman arrived and was seated at my table; I pushed the woman out of my way and sat down at the table with my coffee drink.  She disappeared.

I finished my drink and started to get up to get a refill, when automatically my glass filled up with clear refreshing well water.  I kept repeating in the dream, “I can’t believe I bought this house for $144,000!”

I awoke to a scripture address: You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Psalm 23:5-6.

At the time, the interpretation was fairly easy to understand.  But as with any prophetic dream, it could have multiple layers of time wrapped in the meaning.  It takes the unraveling over God’s span for a greater revelation to come forth.  I think this the case with this dream.

Let’s look at my initial interpretation…the strong stone foundation is Jesus, our sure Foundation.  The grounds were expansive, lush, fed by rain from heaven, which filled up the well - all indicative of the Holy Spirit.  And east is the place of God’s glory.

144,000 - this is the number for martyrs, according to Revelation 14:3 “The people of God.”  Then the “12” is magnified as to 12 multiplied by 12 to mean complete fullness or God’s bountiful provisions and blessings.” From biblicaleschatology.org.  Also, the table was set for 12, which is the number of apostles.  A lot of twelves going on in this dream.

Easy to interpret is the woman who called me on the phone, the jezebel spirit trying to get a seat at my table.  I pushed her out just as I did with the prayer assignment.  Psalm 23:5 says it all, God has prepared a table for me in the presence of my enemies.

In the dining room (symbolizes fellowship with God), the windows looking out onto the property indicate prophecy into the future.  They could indicate I will have a clear view of the rain (revival) coming to drench the property.  The well means I will never be thirsty, neither will the guests.  The guests had not arrived though; I was waiting for them (God will bring them).  As I waited, I finished my coffee drink; the glass filled up spontaneously with clear refreshing water (the Holy Spirit and the refreshing presence of God).

I am confident that the dream has elements of the present (at the time when it was given), the future and eternal.  Received after the difficult assignment for the Lord, it was a reward, indicating deliverance from the enemy and provision for the future (my glass refilling miraculously).  It is also an end-time dream noting the 144,000 reference and me waiting for God’s guests to arrive.

Who are these guests…the Lord’s guests?  You are the guests; those of you who read this website are the guests that will partake with me in the rains and the beautiful never-ending refreshment from heaven.  This dream is promising that we will experience the rains if we wait for Him to send what was promised.  I believe it has already started!

The Lord gave a scripture address of Numbers 21:16:  From there they went to Beer, which is the well where the Lord said to Moses, “Gather the people together, and I will give them water.”

I am reminded of a song by Brenton G. Brown & G. Robertson:

All who are thirsty
All who are weak
Come to the fountain
Dip your heart in the streams of life
Let the pain and the sorrow
Be washed away
In the waves of his mercy
As deep cries out to deep, we sing
Come Lord Jesus, come
Come Lord Jesus, come

And to my delight, the dream is an eternal dream which is indicative of the grounds, the endless water supply (His Spirit) and the verse… I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Psalm 23:6.

The LORD will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail. Isaiah 58:11.
