This dream was given to me twenty days before the head pastor passed. Twenty is an interesting number. Besides the meaning below, 2020 was the year the 10:10 mystery was solved involving the head pastor. From The Ultimate Guide to Understanding the Dreams You Dream, Milligan, Ira:
“When we take a base number (one through nine) and multiply it by ten, we are weighing or measuring it to determine whether to accept or reject it. For example, two times ten equals twenty. Twenty means to “divide” or “judge” something and in the process determine whether to “accept” or “reject” it. When God numbered Israel, He counted only those who were twenty years old and upward (see Num. 1:3). From this example, it’s not difficult to see that twenty can mean “holy” (separated unto God and accepted by Him). Or it can mean “unholy” (weighed in the balances and found wanting!). As always, the surrounding context within the dream determines whether the interpretation is positive or negative.”
The brief dream was of the head pastor. He came to me and was facing me. Not as in a standoff, but it was as if he was saying: “Let’s come clean. We both know the truth and it is out in the open now.”
I sense the fact that he was facing me meant he was facing the truth of what is contained in my book under the Church Years Chapter. I felt no animosity nor anger, only an emotion of agreement. Not of surrender either, but of quiet acknowledgement.
Truly I am as your spokesman before God; I also have been formed out of clay. Surely no fear of me will terrify you, nor will my hand be heavy on you. (Job 33:6-7).
I believe this to be a prophetic dream. Isn’t prophecy agreement with God by His spokesperson that what God wants to do the prophet agrees with? Whatever form the prophecy takes, the Lord’s intentions are to be agreed with. I think God was showing me that we (the Lord, the head pastor and I) are all on the same page now.
For me, the dream was comforting. In addition, to be in agreement with Him is to proclaim what He says on this site. To be a witness even if no one reads the prophecy, it is read in the court of heaven and agreed upon!
…That ‘by the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.' (Matthew 18:16).
For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. (Revelation 19:10b).
