Covenant of Peace, A Garden of Renown

A Garden of Renown, wow!  I am reminded of God’s prophetic promise I heard a number of years ago: “There will be a time of great harvest and multiple sightings of My Spirit and angelic host.  It will be a feast for the soul, a delight for the senses.  I will inhabit the praises of My people and set My sanctuary with you once again.  I will come in power and fill My people to overflowing and you will say, ‘Enough, enough already, I cannot contain it all!’ but you will not or cannot contain it, for it will be ME!”

The next verse in the Covenant of Peace I want to look at is 29: I will raise up for them a garden of renown, and they shall no longer be consumed with hunger in the land, nor bear the shame of the Gentiles anymore.  A garden of renown for a great harvest, a feast and an overflowing for our souls until we say “Enough, enough already!”  

Verse 29 is most intriguing to me.  Why?  Because, over the past ten years, I have had many spiritual encounters with gardens.  I believe the Lord wants me to tie them together in light of this one verse.  I sense the garden of renown implies a bounty not only personally but also, for the Body of Christ as in the end-time harvest.

Shawn Saunders in her book The Covenant of Peace explains a garden of renown this way: “He will cause the orchards and fields to yield bumper crops; and make our land famous for its crop…Imagine the most incredible quality of fruit in terms of size, color and juicy goodness. You hoped for a harvest but this is beyond human imagination! God is promising us that He will not only give us a harvest, but He will produce a bumper crop, meaning that your harvest is exceptionally large, fine and successful. Your harvest has exceeded the produce of all other farmers and is in a league of its own. There’s nothing that can compare to it. It is so obvious that everyone can see it. Because of its size, quality, and especially its difference, everyone wants it.”

When I started praying for revival in 2007, God gave these scripture promises: “I will heal them and reveal to them the abundance of peace and truth. Then it shall be to Me a name of joy, a praise, and an honor before all nations of the earth, who shall hear all the good that I do to them; they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and all the prosperity that I provide for it.”  Jeremiah 33:6b, 9.

I see similarities in Jeremiah’s verses matching the Covenant of Peace and the garden of renown.  What does renown mean?  A state of being widely acclaimed and highly honored.

My first encounter with gardens happened in 2014, when God told me to start a real garden (in my yard) through dreams.  I called it my Son-Shine garden.  It turned into a miracle garden which produced fruits and vegetables all on its own, unbelievably.  The story is told under “An Example of Working of Miracles in practice, my Son-Shine Garden”:   Power Gifts ~ The Working of Miracles ~ Sun Beams from Above.

Notice what verse 29 says: ‘I WILL’ raise up for them a garden of renown'.  God will actually do the work on His own, just as He did with my Son-Shine Garden.  He plants the garden; He does all of these works in us and through us. Lord, You will establish peace for us, for You have also done all our works in us. Isaiah 26:12.

There have been several other dreams which included gardens of magnificence.  In two of them, the fruits and vegetables were so perfect and large they looked cartoonish.  In another two, the manicured garden grounds were watered from the showers of heaven which also collected in a pool and well for consumption later.

The most recent garden dream happened three days after God’s miracle of rain.  That dream contained a message that the Lord was resurrecting our covenant from ten plus years earlier to bring it to fulfillment.  That completion was set in motion in 2020 and He is initiating a renewal of the covenant by revising it now with a Covenant of Peace (like an addendum!).

The Covenant Renewed: And He said: “Behold, I make a covenant. Before all your people I will do marvels such as have not been done in all the earth, nor in any nation; and all the people among whom you are shall see the work of the Lord. For it is an awesome thing that I will do with you.  Exodus 34:10.

Your threshing shall last till the time of vintage, and the vintage shall last till the time of sowing; you shall eat your bread to the full, and dwell in your land safely. I will give peace in the land, and you shall lie down, and none will make you afraid; I will rid the land of evil beasts, and the sword will not go through your land. Leviticus 26:5-6.   

In conclusion, what God has initiated in the Covenant of Peace is a ‘sign’ of what He is initiating with His Body including you, to bring in the bumper crop of souls.  Lastly, note we will not be ashamed to be believers in the Lord Jesus Christ because He ‘will do marvels such as have not been done in all the earth, nor in any nation; and all the people among whom you are shall see the work of the Lord.  For it is an awesome thing that I will do with you.’ 

All I can say is Hallelujah and to our God be the glory forever and ever.  Amen!
