Oh, where would I be without my mentor? To me, my mentor has been my inspiration, a teacher, a sounding board, an intercessor and a lighthouse showing me how to operate in the Gifts of the Spirit.
She is truly a Proverbs Thirty-One woman! Not only do we share corporate America experience but also, many other experiences in life. It’s a wonderful pairing. In addition, she is the only person I know that has gone through and lives with an affliction while keeping God’s glory in the forefront. Iron sharpens iron, she walks in the Office of a Prophet.
This vision was given to me through Cindy over twenty years ago during my seeking years. Here she is in her own words:
1 Corinthians 12:4 There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them.
“Some twenty years ago, I received a vision for Pam while praying for her. I knew she had been praying to receive all the Gifts of the Spirit, and in this prayer for her I received a vision that was a prophetic promise to her that she would indeed receive them.
In the vision, which was so lovely I struggle to describe it, I saw Jesus in His robe standing behind a large cauldron. He was stirring a beautiful liquid with a large paddle. The colors were too exquisite to describe adequately. Every color: purples, pinks, golds, yellows, greens, blues…Bubbles were rising and popping in the air, each in its own color, mixing with the vapor from the cauldron.
I noticed beautiful vials placed along a shelf behind Him, each containing a colored liquid. As I watched, He took one down and poured what appeared to be colored oil and added it to the mixture in the pot. Stirring slowly, He added another and then another. The aroma was was a sweet perfume unlike any other. This mixture was to be His gift to Pam to enable her for the work she would be called to do.
I have received many visions in my life, praise God, but I have never forgotten this one. It was so profoundly lovely and encouraging to me and depicted in a memorable way the gifting of the Gifts of the Spirit to His children. They are very real and enable us to do far more for Him than we could ever imagine.”
Praise Be to God!

Indeed, I have all and abound. I am full, having received…the things sent from you, a sweet-smelling aroma, an acceptable sacrifice, well pleasing to God. (Philippians 4:18).
