Blink of An Eye

I am reminded that my (and our) real Hope and Light is Jesus.  That Hope includes the anticipation of the translation of my flesh body to my heavenly body (via the rapture), not my healing here on earth.  That’s why this dream that my little sister had will encourage us all!  It brings me (and you, I pray) great peace.

Here is Wendy in her own words from March 2023:

“I had a very short dream this morning, early and it was with you and me.  The only thing that I remember from the dream is you telling me that ‘We were in Heaven’.  I remember thinking ‘Nothing has changed!’  Everything looked and felt the same.  How did I miss the blink of an eye?  That was it. No colors or where we were at the time, just your voice telling me that we were in Heaven.”

After Wendy sent me the dream, I prayed and heard: “Heaven on Earth!”  I looked up the phrase on the internet and found the first description interesting.  I did not type in rapture but only ‘heaven on earth’.  The result was a scripture about the rapture, which was a sweet confirmation of her dream!

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.

1 Corinthians 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed.

“Jesus, came into our world, and when He rose from the dead…that resurrection morning dawned the new creation light that will overcome everything as we know. If heaven and earth overlap as dimensions, on that day, heaven reached its hand into our world and puts its foot in the door. Heaven came then, and eventually it’ll be clear — as clear as a big tree in a garden with birds on its branches (Matthew 13:32). Spiritually speaking, because of our union with Jesus, we inhabit the dimension of reality in which He reigns. We are, in that sense, in heaven with Him. And at the same time, we are here. We are breathing the air of this world, listening to the music of this culture, eating the food of this place. So He has sent us His Spirit. Until God’s new creation overwhelms this old one, the way that heaven touches this world is through His people.”

I am reminded of a prophetic word I received almost twenty years ago which referenced Enoch as our example.

“Daughter, think it not strange that I gave this passage this morning, for just as Enoch was translated by faith so you will be translated by your faith.  I want you to realize the times you are living in; I see the shadows in your mind that think things are impossible, yes, even the last days to you seem as a dream.  But I say to you, just as you read about the end times, so you will see it come to pass with your very eyes.  For eye has not yet seen nor ear heard all that I will bring to pass in your lifetime.  And did you not know that there will be a generation that will not pass away but they will be translated through death into My glorious Kingdom, yet they will not taste death; death will not touch them nor harm them.  To this generation you do belong, yes, to this generation. 

Now, this is so unbelievable to you however I call for the faith (just as Enoch) to believe this report.  The days will grow more perilous for believers as I have spoken before and a great falling away will take place.  For no one knows the day or the hour when I will return except My Father, hence be watchful and do not sin or grieve My Holy Spirit…be found about My business and My reward will be full for you.  There will be those who will not (cannot) believe the reports.  They will think just as time has always been, so it will always be.  But I have sworn that I will return and My glorious appearing is approaching.  Sing, hallelujah, for I will not strive with man forever.” 

Isa. 48:3 ’I have declared the former things from the beginning, they went forth from My mouth and I caused them to hear it.  Suddenly I did them, and they came to pass.’

Revelation 22:10 And He said to me ‘do not seal the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is at hand.’

"By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God" (Hebrews 11:5).  Enoch experienced "rapture" in his time before the judgment of the Flood. What Enoch experienced is what some modern Christians believe is waiting for the church. 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17 promises that Jesus will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and the trumpet of God, and the church will be taken up, or “raptured,”,” to meet Him in the air.”  Lumpkin, Joseph, The Books of Enoch.
