How I Met Wanda Through a Dream

I want to tell you the miraculous story of how I met Wanda Rust (our featured Evangelist).  It was 2015 and the conclusion of the ten-year long intercession job for my former church had finally come. 

I was having enemy dreams that a jailer pronounced a deadly curse against me.  It just so happened that a short time after these dreams, I was diagnosed with a fatal disease.  The Lord revealed the intents and future actions of the enemy through these dreams.  Yet, God sent me one of His prophets through another dream a few months later to negate the curse!

Here is the dream.  In my dream, I was walking in an open area when I met Wanda Rust (I supernaturally knew her name); she had with her three young ladies who were learning under her tutelage.  They were excited to meet me.  The women gave me a prophecy concerning my future, something that I was thrilled to hear.  I believe it was something akin to, “No death sentence pronounced against me will stand.” I cannot remember the details of the prophecy but when I awoke, I was so happy about what they told me.

A Scripture address upon waking was given Nehemiah 9:31 Nevertheless in Your great mercy You did not utterly consume them nor forsake them; for You are God, gracious and merciful.

I thought, “Who is Wanda Rust?”  I had only heard of her once before after my former prayer partner received a personal prophecy from her at a conference over a decade earlier.  This was a comfort to my soul after being given a very difficult diagnosis a few days before.  I believe it meant that I would not die, but live and go on to prepare the way of the Lord, as He has told me.  

A couple of months after the dream, I decided to contact Wanda and ask what her ministry was about.  I went to her website wandarustministries.org; I emailed the website telling them that I had Wanda in a dream.  The same week Wanda contacted me directly by phone; we had a long conversation.  She told me that she had been called to a prophetic ministry with gifts of healings and prophecy.  She also told me that she had come to other people before in their dreams and that God had used her in these dreams to bring the recipient a prophetic message.

Wanda prayed for me and gave me a message: “The affliction will not stand against you; God wanted you to contact me.  You are in a training process; you will know how to move and to stand on the word of God.  God is raising up an army to go before Him (He has allowed her to see the army being raised up).  The doctors won’t be able to help you.”

“No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me,” says the Lord. Isaiah 54:17.

A few years later and after I wrote my book, I contacted Wanda to let her know she was mentioned in it, and I sent her a copy.  To my disbelief, she actually read the whole (huge) book!  We started to communicate and became friends.  I love speaking and praying with her a few times a month.  Her wisdom is beyond amazing as well as her knowledge of the Word and the Spirit.  I have used her expertise numerous times in the series on the gifts.  I am so blessed to call her my friend! 

Wanda and I share the same vision and passion for the great gathering that is coming, perhaps that is why God has brought us together.  Bless you Wanda, you have refreshed this saint more than you know.
