Disappearing Mountain ~ Dramatic confirmation of mountain removal!

We know from scripture that God’s glory resides in the mountains.  For instance, God took Abraham up into the mountains to test him with his son, Isaac.  As a result, God’s glory was shown through the miraculous deliverance by a ram caught in a thicket. 

The ten commandments were given to Moses on a mountain.  In addition, mountains are figurative of God’s protection, dwelling, judgements and faith.  Since that is the case, the Lord abides in the mountain of affliction as well.  Or any other mountain we face in our lives.  As an intercessor, I tend to pray against the mountains in mine and others’ lives.  

Nevertheless, I’ve come to realize that the mountain is where God’s glory resides and I’m not praying against the mountains with such fervency anymore.  Perhaps, this is a result of The Covenant of Peace, but I am praying for God’s glory to be recognized and seen in His mountains.  So, the mountains of our lives are holy mountains. 

His foundation is in the holy mountains.  Psalm 87:1.

Though, I still pray for the faith to move mountains, the dream Promise Mountain elicited an interesting response from the Lord.  There is more to this story which happened a week later as I continued contemplating the dream. 

I wanted to watch a new movie and I chose to shop Amazon Prime Video for a choice.  Mind you, I usually don’t like westerns.  In fact, I don’t remember the last time I willing watched a western!  I got a nudge in my spirit to select a show titled “Outer Range”.     

I was intrigued by the series as it was quirky with a time-travel hole smack dab in the middle of the lead character’s west pasture.  During Episode 3 at 41:03 into the show something amazing happened.  But first, I want to tell you what I was doing before I watched the program.

It was after dinner and I sat down to update my journal, still praying about the mountain dream I recounted earlier.  I asked God, “Are You really going to move my physical mountain?”  Then, I watched this show.

In Episode 3, the lead character, Royal, was talking to a woman who was camping on his west pasture.  During the encounter, he looked up to see a huge rock mountain (in the background) disappear into a vapor!  

At the same time, the town’s sheriff was driving and saw the same thing. 

When she returned to her office, she was told of numerous towns people reporting seeing the mountain disappear!  Ha-ha ha …are you kidding me?

“Things got even weirder when Royal saw an entire mountain disappear from the landscape. The scene initially appeared to be a simple hallucination, but the fact that the Deputy Sheriff in another part of the town saw the same thing proved that the mountain did indeed disappear. Other citizens had also reported it.” (screenrant.com).

Surprisingly, the mountain looked very similar to the one in my dream.  Was that the Lord’s doing or a coincidence?  I choose to believe! 😊 

The mountains melt like wax at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth. Psalm 97:5. 

For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Mark 11:23.
