The Work of an Apostle ~ Confirmations

In my own life, there is nothing more important than knowing that the Lord has spoken.  Not only spoken, but that I understood what He has said or asked of me.  I bet you are the same way!  As I am featuring my friend and mentor in the Office of Apostle, Cindy too received confirmations too numerous to list for the work God asked her to accomplish.

Before her ministry began, she recalls two visions given by the Holy Spirit.  Here is Cindy in her own words.

“In the first vision, I saw a village alleyway with little children waiting on door sills and just on the ground waiting for someone to come to save them. It was a very rural scene with mud and brick small houses, dirt road, and people walking by in old clothing. A scene of poverty and deprivation. I believed those children were waiting for me.

Years later, I walked down that very road and began to gather our first children. I remembered the vision while I walked with a little child in each hand and one walking behind me, surrounded by village people and my translator. I realized that my vision had come true. I knew that day that I would care for these children and others, that I would build an orphanage.”

Another confirming vision was given to Cindy through our friend, Gloria.  Here is our friend in her own words:

“In 1996, my dear friend Pam invited me to go with her to Santa Ynez, Ca. for Jack Deere’s “Holy Spirit Conference”.  Being a busy working mother, I had to think about it.  Just as I was getting ready to decline, I had an overwhelming feeling that I should go.

During the conference, Jack Deere had all of us close our eyes for three minutes to see if the Holy Spirit would reflect anything to us.  I had a vision of our friend Cindy standing in the middle of a lot of little children (not American).  They were all surrounding her and I sensed it was an orphanage. To my disbelief, after I told Cindy what I saw, she gasped as the Lord was directing her to do that very thing.

Cindy started Threshold Ministries that year and her work resulted in feeding and schooling hundreds of orphans in China for over twenty years!”
