Look, I am going to be very honest, we are facing serious days. As I have said, before, the Lord has called me “to prepare the way of the Lord”, not knowing exactly what that means it’s starting to become clearer. I am watching the Middle East closely because of a dream in January. Listed under Your Mission if You Choose to Accept It ~ The Dream, is a ‘mystery’ call.
Upon waking from the dream, I heard “Job Assignment Time” (which was given to me in 2014 for a ministry shift) and the Lord said, “Your Mission if You Choose to Accept It.” I have been given numerous confirmations, in addition to homework after the dream.
Let’s look closer at the dream: I was viewing a road on an army base. I observed an army jeep with two women in it, they were dressed in army fatigues. I saw their hands and they were black hands. They were backing up the jeep to leave the compound. The women were in God’s army, leaving the base to go to their next destination (Saudi Arabia) when I saw them again.
But why were their hands black? That bothered me as I surmised an evil work by the color. I was wrong! Their hands were black because they would ‘hand’ me an assignment that was unknown, hidden, shrouded. In the ‘dark’ until further revealed.
“Most commonly, when the context is positive, the color black in dreams represents mystery, in the biblical sense of the word. Our modern idea of mystery suggests something unknown that cannot be understood or explained. It is ‘black’ because you can’t see it. However, that doesn’t adequately describe what we are talking about. Mystery has a deeper meaning in the bible. There is a sense that it means something secret and hidden, but it also carries the hope that God has hidden it for us to find. It tells us that there is something to be sought and discovered. It carries the excitement of a treasure hunt! Mystery is black because you can’t see it now, but it carries a promise that you will see and understand in due time.” heavensdreammessages.com.
I will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places, that you may know that I, the Lord, who call you by your name, Am the God of Israel. Isaiah 45:3.
I suspect the two women were angels, and the color black symbolized a hidden work and a mystery, as it is with prophetic intercession. More on that later.
You have made him (man) a little lower than the angels; You have crowned him with glory and honor and set him over the works of Your hands. Hebrews 2:7. This verse seems to fit perfectly with the dream.
The next scene had me in the Saudi Arabian desert. Present were the same two women, appearing now in tan army clothing and a higher rank than I was. They were more experienced in this ‘endeavor’. You have made him (man) a little lower than the angels (in rank).
They stood next to me and clothed me for the job. Then, they walked me to a vehicle while reassuring me. I said “Please don’t leave me alone. I don’t know what I’m doing. All I have are the clothes that you’ve given me.” You have crowned (or clothed) him with glory and honor and set him over the works of Your hands.
A key was in my hand to unlock the vehicle door. I unlocked the back passenger door (driver’s side) while the two angels looked on. In the vehicle I found a large backpack. I opened the backpack to find a thick manila envelope that contained all the instructions I needed for the assignment. I didn’t open the envelope. And, the backpack being in the back of the car, suggests it is stored for future use. In other words, when the Lord decides to reveal more instruction of what the job entails.
I still had unanswered questions. What was my assignment? I didn’t know where I was headed or what I was going to do. I only had the clothes on my back that they gave me; the vehicle with the backpack and the envelope.
He found him in a desert land and in the wasteland, a howling wilderness; He encircled him, He instructed him, He kept him as the apple of His eye. Duet. 32:2 and 10.
Come to think of it, it’s been 10 years (2014) when I had the last dream, You’re in the Army Now about being enlisted in God’s army and a new assignment coming. I was in the army though I didn’t know it would be with great suffering and affliction in the job.
I often wonder if I would’ve taken the job if I had known what would come. I have told God as such. Perhaps that is why He gave me the option to accept or decline this new mission. Either way, I have accepted it. Haven’t we heard that without great risk, there is no great reward? So, take every risk, drop every fear; take the risk or lose the chance. Though the statement I heard the Lord say is from ‘Mission Impossible’ and the risks may outweigh the rewards on this earth, nothing is impossible with God.
