While asking for more prayer direction for Saudi Arabia, I heard the Lord say, ‘I have given you the keys to the kingdom.’  I thought ‘Wow, that’s pretty interesting because Saudi Arabia is known as a kingdom!'  The kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

From my dream: “A key was in my hand to unlock the vehicle door.  I unlocked the back passenger door (driver’s side) while the two angels looked on.  In the vehicle I found a large backpack.  I opened the backpack to find a thick manila envelope that contained all the instructions I needed for the assignment.”  No roadmap was provided.

So, let’s look at what Jesus says about kingdom keys in scripture in Matthew 16:19.  And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.

“The concept of “binding and loosing” is taught in the Bible in Matthew 16:19; in this verse, Jesus is speaking directly to the apostle Peter and indirectly to the other apostles. Jesus’ words meant that Peter would have the right to enter the kingdom himself, that he would have general authority symbolized by the possession of the keys, and that preaching the gospel would be the means of opening the kingdom of heaven to all believers and shutting it against unbelievers. The book of Acts shows us this process at work. By his sermon on the day of Pentecost (Acts 2:14-40), Peter opened the door of the kingdom for the first time. The expressions “bind” and “loose” were common to Jewish legal phraseology meaning to declare something forbidden or to declare it allowed.” What does the Bible mean by binding and loosing?

He has given keys of the kingdom, so I can apply them as keys to the kingdom of Saudi Arabia.  What we bind on earth will be bound in heaven and what we loose on earth will be loosed in heaven, according to the scripture.  That is a call to proclamation intercession aka prophetic proclamations.

Prophetic proclamations are a part of intercession and the proclaiming of God’s prophetic words back to Him.  These proclamations can be used in intercession for another or can be of personal use.

“Besides prayer, our intercession partnership with the Holy Spirit needs to include proclamations.  This is a much-neglected area of prayer, since it includes the plans and purposes of God and their fulfillment in the earth.  A prophetic proclamation is speaking what the Lord has said back to Him and to the heavenlies under the direction and anointing of the Holy Spirit. This releases the authority of God's word into a situation or circumstance.” Art Nelson, Prayer Series ~ Prophetic Proclamations and Prayer.

What is it that the Lord is calling you and me to “bind” and “loose” over our subjects of prayer?  Seek to find out the Lord’s heart to proclaim it in the earth according to His will, speaking the heart of God as a declaration of a future event or a future purpose for the target of intercession.

As an example, I believe I have an answer in Isaiah for Saudi Arabia which I was given.

Let the desert and its towns raise their voices.  Let those who live in the settlements of Kedar be glad.  Let the people of Sela sing for joy.  Let them shout from the tops of the mountains. Isaiah 42:11.

I am to bind whatever is restricting the voices of this country from entering the kingdom and singing praise to the Lord.  And, I am to loose those voices to be glad and shout for joy in the Lord.  One could imagine in that region what might be the hinderance.  However, we are dealing in the spiritual realm and as such, I will wait for God to reveal the burden that I am to pray and to bind!

The spiritual realm dictates what happens in the physical realm; on earth as it is in heaven.  God has decreed that much of what will take place on earth will take place through the intercession of the saints.  That’s part of His purpose for us to proclaim His plans into being.

We are called to be like Christ and be transformed into His likeness.  God SPOKE the world into existence, He speaks, and it is done.  He is asking us to do the same according to His direction.

For HE spoke, and it came to be HE commanded, and it stood firm.  Psalm 33:9.

You will declare a thing and it will be done for you according to Job 22:27-28.  You will make your prayer to Him, He will hear you, and you will pay your vows.  You will also declare a thing, and it will be established for you; so, light will shine on your ways.

There is no lack when you are praying from the resources of heaven. “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think…” Ephesians 3:20.

“The jurisdiction of intercession is connected with favor and authority, and both are only when in relationship and friendship with the Lord.  It is a very high honor to be considered the friend of God.  Those who lay down their lives for Him and obey His Word are His friends.  It is a very intimate honor to come before the Father and be heard.  Our lives, faith and hearts can indeed melt His heart and make a difference.  It is incredibly amazing that the Lord God chooses to make Himself - His heart vulnerable to His friends.” Types of Intercessors and Their Authority.

Sing and Pray with Me: I am a Friend of God!

LORD, I seek Your heart to proclaim it in the earth according to Your will, speaking Your heart as a declaration of a future event and Your future purpose for the target of my intercession. Give me the favor and authority to declare a thing, and it will be established for me as Your emissary and friend for Your glory alone. Amen and amen.
