Thief in the Night

This dream is a reminder of who our real enemy is.  In the short eerie dream, I was sleeping in my bed; it was the dead of night.  I thought I heard someone in the house.  I felt a pillow pressing against my right shoulder as I lay in bed, like it was moving toward my head.  

Suddenly, my husband got up and commented that he believed someone (perhaps, a thief) was in the house, also.  I didn’t feel the pillow anymore and I couldn’t understand where it went.  I was feeling around for it and I found it on the ground next to the bed as if someone had dropped it when Bobby had gotten up.

I spoke in tongues as I was trying to find the pillow, knowing in my spirit it was an attempt by a thief (the enemy) to kill me…silence me.  I woke up.

Moral of the story, it is always a good idea to put on the armor of God before sleeping; but if we forget, the Living God will rescue us.
