Baby, It’s Cold Downstairs!

The following dream occurred on the same night as the Envelope of Evidence dream this past mid-December, posted 1/27/22.  How do I know they are related?  Because the same husband and wife are in this dream. 

In the dream, my husband and I had a temporary house.  There was a downstairs in the house, but it was cold (55 degrees).  The lower level or basement was haunted, and he wouldn’t go there.  I did.  I told him that we can always get our old house back in order to soothe him, but I had to go.

I proceeded to the downstairs and recorded the haunting.   As I started documenting the scariness, it came upon me and ran me across the room, slamming me face-first into a box of old stuff.

Suddenly I was outside of the lower level watching the same husband/wife couple (from Envelope of Evidence dream) spying on me as I was documenting the spooking’s.  While they watched me, they wore red welding helmets on their heads as they looked in our window.  I sensed they wanted inside of the basement.

I ran to the front of the house, banged on the garage door alerting husband.  The couple walked down the side of the house and glared at me as they left the property. 

I received scripture upon waking:  Isaiah 44:20 Such a person feeds on ashes; a deluded heart misleads him; he cannot save himself, or say, Is not this thing in my right hand a lie?

This dream relates to me discovering that the Lord wants to revive the haunting history of my old church leadership. The old stuff from storage which I have to regress (go downstairs) to document!  The ghostly material throws me across the room headfirst into an old box which was in storage.  In other words, God bringing this material to the forefront (aka forehead).  Needless to say, I am not happy about this request.

The couple was spying on this activity (do I know this in the natural? No.).  At the end, they leave us unharmed.  The welding helmets are interesting, indicating a strong bond or hard-headed.  Helmet also suggest the ‘Helmet of Salvation’ of believers.  Red on their heads could mean they’re hot headed or passionate over this.

Fifty-five degrees is cold, like a ‘cold case’.  And it could symbolically represent a retirement age.  The number fifty is the number of jubilee or freedom and five is service.  Was the Lord telling me this cold case information represents the head pastor’s freedom from service as the number fifty-five symbolizes?  I think so.

Notice also that this was a temporary house, a temporary assignment.  We won’t have to live there for long, hallelujah!  But the ghosts of the past are haunting me inside and outside of this temporary assignment.  God give me strength to get through this.
