Preparation for a Great Gathering

I have seen a Great Gathering that is coming, a greater move of the Spirit that many prophets agree is on the near horizon!  Breaking forth like a colorful sunrise it is sure to come in our lifetime.  It is amassing among the nations even as I write this.  It is the bridal preparation for the ultimate wedding.  It is…ON ITS WAY!

Hosea 6:2 proclaims, ‘After two days He will revive us; on the third day He will raise us up, that we may live in His sight.’  Think on those words.  A day with the Lord is as a thousand years.  2 Peter 3:8 But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

We are coming to the end of the second day, the second millennium (dispensation) aka the church age.  As Hosea says, at the end of the second day He will revive us as in the end-time harvest and ingathering of God’s saints.  And on the third day, He will raise us up to His Presence (could this be the rapture of the saints?) that we will live in His sight forever! 

The dream started with me going to a gathering of people with a common cause; the people had come from all over the world.  I entered into the building by way of a window.  Once inside the venue, I observed the people interacting with one another as if they knew each other.  I was an observer.

Next scene, I was at a large school where I witnessed the same people transforming the location into a gathering place for an event (the event was happening the next day).  The school was being replaced and transformed.  They needed to figure out the seating; a feast was involved, as well as a stage.  There was excitement in the air.

As I left the location, I traveled eastward on a road that was lined with ‘air conditioning’ repair trucks all numbered from 1 to 70 in numeric order (Job 1, Job 2, etc.).  The trucks were headed to the event to prepare it.  Upon waking I heard, “Preparation for a Great Gathering” and received scripture addresses.

Malachi 3:1 “Behold I send My messenger and he will prepare the way before Me. And the Lord whom you seek, will suddenly come to His temple even the Messenger of the covenant in whom you take delight. Behold He is coming” says the Lord of hosts.

Psalm 50:5 Gather My saints together to Me, those who have made a covenant with Me by sacrifice.

Revelation 1:17-19 And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead. But He laid His right hand on me, saying to me, ‘Do not be afraid; I am the First and the Last.  I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death.  Write the things which you have seen, and the things which are, and the things which will take place after this.’

Let us take this in small pieces to interpret.  The gathering is a future happening, which is evident by the planning of the event.  With this in mind the dream is fairly easy to figure out.  I am an observer to a future event, a witness.

I entered into the building via a window (a window is symbolic for something revealed, truth or prophecy, in this case of a coming event).  The people knew each other though they came from all over the world, indicating they had something in common.  What was the commonality?  I believe they had been selected to ‘Prepare the way of the Lord’ (preparing for the event) from all nationalities, tribes and tongues.  They were all one in purpose for Christ Jesus and gave up all for Him.

The school was being transformed, meaning it was the end to learning (the end of the church age) and it was time for the great event which I believe is the revival and ingathering of end-time saints into His Kingdom. 

The air conditioning repair trucks are quite fascinating including the numbering.  Let’s first look at the numbers: 1 through 70 and they were titled “Job 1” through “Job 70” on the outside of each truck, lined up in order on their way to the event to ‘prepare it.’  The number 1 means beginning, and 70 means completely accepted. 

As for ‘air conditioning,’ that term is figurative for spiritual conditioning.  This could also mean preparing us to meet the Lord in the ‘Air’!  And, combined with repair, a repairman is indicative of Christ, His prophets, or pastors that aide in adjusting of theology, attitude, or spirit. 

So, I believe this line of trucks as a progressive (over time as indicative of 1 through 70) preparation of the Body of Christ for His Great Gathering.  In other words, being emblematic for the conditioning of His church over time (the church era) until it reaches ‘70’ or completion and acceptance. 

Lastly, it rained for three days (up to three inches) starting on the night that I had this dream.  Not to go overboard, but...three days is noteworthy.  As I said at the start, the third day is suggestive of revival in Hosea 6:2.  According to Agape Bible Study: “In Scripture the number three is one of the so called ‘perfect numbers.’  In Scripture the number three signifies completeness or perfection.  As a number which indicates completeness, the number three always identifies some important event in Salvation History.”  

I recall a word to me from the Lord via my mentor: “You will mature in your calling; the Lord is planning something big as long as you obey and do anything for Him.  If you refuse Him, He will send another in your place.”   My earnest prayer is that I would be a volunteer for Jesus in the day of His great power and the Gathering according to: Psalm 110:3 Your people shall be volunteers in the day of Your power.

In conclusion, this dream speaks to me of those believers who are prepared, who have left all for the Kingdom of God and given up worldly interests to pursue God’s calling.  I can honestly say that I am finally at that point, where I will give up all the world has to offer for just a seat at the Great Gathering that is coming.  Will you?
