Dancing in the Dark ~ The Dance of Circles

I want to discuss dancing in a circle from the dream “Dancing in the Dark” because the Lord continues to add meaning to this dream through various avenues.  From the dream: “It was nighttime, and you were outside.  You were dancing and skipping joyously in a large circle around a campfire.” 

Dancing and skipping are signs of worship and being carefree.  In addition, prophesying and joy!  Joy of what?  My ability to move freely again with physical strength and new prophetic purpose…no doubt, I would be worshipping with abandon!  Just as Miriam did after the Lord’s deliverance through the Red Sea.

Then Miriam the prophet, Aaron’s sister, took a timbrel in her hand, and all the women followed her, with timbrels and dancing. Exodus 15:20.

Now, a large circle is a ring and a ring represents a Covenant; eternity; and never ending.  Perhaps, a reference to the Lord fulfilling another element of our Covenant of Peace…my healing?  I have prayed about this dream for a month now and the day after my birthday, I received an email from Rabbi Jonathan Cahn’s Hope of the World Ministries, titled “The Dance of the Heavenly Circles”. 

You can understand my thoughts of excitement to find out God was continuing to speak about this dream in ways I could not imagine!  So, I investigated the title and found Jonathan did a YouTube on the subject.  What the Bible says about dancing | THE DANCE OF CIRCLES | The Book of Mysteries - YouTube

Here is an excerpt: “The people of God took part in the Dance of Circles.  What was it and what secret does it hold about the world; about this life and how you can have a part in it?  Now, what is it about dancing and why do people dance?

In the Book of Mysteries, there is a mystery about the Dance of the Circles.  Throughout the Bible you see people dancing.  Miriam danced, David danced as expressions of joy if it’s holy and it is done unto the Lord.  The dancing was especially used around the feast celebrations of the Lord.  God named the Feasts of the Lord after the Dance of the Circles.

He wants His people to partake in the dance and to rejoice in the dance.  The Lord of the festivals and of the dance also ordains the Earth to take part in a dance of circles.  The Earth performs a circle dance around the sun!  So, the entire world, the entire universe and every part of your life is taking place as part of a circle dance since we live on earth!

You must live your life as a celebration unto the Lord; your entire life is to be a manifestation of worship, an expression of joy and thanksgiving.  Whatever you have gone through, remember we exist to give Him praise and glory.  Whatever you do, do it for the glory of God in mind, soul and strength because your entire life is part of a sacred circle dance of worship to the Lord God.  We go from night or darkness to the light.”

You must admit that is pretty fascinating as my sister has no knowledge or experience of Jewish tradition and yet, her dream represents such.  Funny, the night before Wen had this dream, I watched a movie titled The Fabelmans where the mom of the Jewish family danced in the dark in a campground in front of her family. 

Once again, Jesus and His Spirit opened a greater meaning to this dream.  A teaching on how important dancing is to the Lord.  I can’t wait to dance before Him!

I will build you up again, and you…will be rebuilt.  Again, you will take up your timbrels and go out to dance with the joyful.  Jeremiah 31:4.
