I have contemplated my first obligation in keeping the Covenant of Peace I wrote with the Lord. Trust, which I called trust without borders meaning to fully surrender. To trust the Lord with everything in me, without allowing anything to stop me. Without letting fear, anxiety, worry, circumstances, or even my comfort or suffering (my borders) get in the way of my trust in the Lord. This is my first obligation in the Covenant of Peace.
God gave me a vision to cement the concept in my mind, something I can visually remember. I was in an open field of green and I held a bunch of yellow and white balloons. The balloons represented things that I’m expecting God to do, promises and dreams that I am still holding onto. But also, these same things can give me anxiety and fear brooding about whether they will come to pass. They can easily be popped.
In the vision, I released them into the air to float back up to the Lord letting Him decide what He wants to do. Up, up and away they ascended into the air until I couldn’t see them anymore. Once gone, I knew I needed to trust Him without holding on to them for dear life!
I see the yellow balloons as representing the promises of God that I have received in various forms. Yellow symbolically means gift or promise of a gift. And the white balloons I interpret as the second duty of mine in the Covenant…worship. To worship the Lord in spirit and in truth speaks to me as the color of white…righteous worship.
God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth. John 4:24.
So, the King will greatly desire your beauty because He is your Lord worship HIM! Psalm 45:11.
