Peace? Healing!

The dream I am about to share happened on the 5^th of this new year, 2023.  It seems that with me the first dream of a new year encapsulates (prophetically) something in my life.  I am hopeful that this is the case with this dream.

There are four scenes.  Each scene started with a situation that would normally steal my peace.  The scenarios included:

• Seeing an old friend who I haven’t reconciled with (yet).
• My husband who I thought was in distress (turned out to be fine).
• The same old friend disturbed my desk and chair where I work, moving things around. In addition, I overheard her on the phone discussing something that ‘could’ make me envious.
• Lastly, I was informed of a mix up regarding my book being sent to someone from my old church.

These situations would have normally made me bristle, but instead I was at peace.  In each scene, I didn’t let what was occurring bother me.  I felt it was a non-issue which I really can’t explain except God!

But what was so incredible about this dream was that after each so called irritating situation, I felt my body strong again.  My strength miraculously returned, and I felt my body was back to normal.  It was amazing how quickly and easily I could walk; and do things which have been hard for me to do.  Through the whole dream, I remembered how I was strong again.

After prayer, I received these verses:

Strengthen the weak hands, and make firm the feeble knees. Say to those who are fearful-hearted, “Be strong, do not fear! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, with the recompense of God; He will come and save you.” Isaiah 35:3-4.

Let him turn away from evil and do good; let him seek peace and pursue it. 1 Peter 3:11.

Peace, I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.  John 14:27.

I have received numerous dreams in the past when I have felt my body, in an instant, be strong again.  Yet, the last dream of this type was almost two years ago.  So, to receive this from the Lord is encouraging. 

I see how being at peace in stressful situations can facilitate healing.  I can read about the subject all the time, but to experience the concept in a dream seals the deal for me. 

Then speak to him, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts, saying: “Behold, the Man whose name is the Branch...So, He shall be a priest on His throne, and the Counsel of Peace shall be between them both.”  Zachariah 6:12-13.

Nevertheless, My love and kindness I will not only take from him, nor allow My faithfulness to fail. My covenant I will not break nor alter the word that has gone out of my lips.  Psalm 89:33.

I believe God is telling me that if I strive to keep my peace in all circumstances (even emergencies); He will fulfill His promise to me.  And, if the Lord does this for me, He will do the same for you.  Seek peace and pursue it at all costs for good (healing) will come from His Hands. 

Now acquaint yourself with Him, and be at PEACE; thereby good will come to you. Job 22:21.
