It all started on the evening of September 26th, 2022.  As Bobby and I settled in for a quiet evening, he brought me a flyer of three missing horses in our area.  I was so upset that these beloved animals were roaming without supervision on streets with cars, we decided to put up a camera in the creek area behind our house to catch them by chance, running by.  We know what it is like to have a lost pet, so heartbreaking.

I contacted the number on the flyer explaining what we were planning to do to help.  I got a response back that the horses were found the night before on my street, Prince Street!  Wonderful news.  Here is the owner’s response:

“Hi, Pam. We found them on Prince Street last night. They were on a steep rocky slope in the backyard.  Little monkeys! They were exhausted and scared.  Sunday morning, they were back in their favorite morning spot, waiting for their morning greetings from all the early morning walkers.  The white one is full grown, 3 years old, and the sheriff.  The brown one is a rescue. The black and white one just turned 1.  Thank you so much for caring.”

Here is their website: HOME | AmazingMiniMiracles.  Their vision statement is inspiring and check out the name, Amazing Mini Miracles:

“Bringing happiness, joy, and social support to our community with unique and creative visits for each individual's need. A really fun way to learn about horses and get inspired…We have found that the combination of kindness, compassion, encouragement, and hands-on horse interaction is powerful. Horses are extremely intelligent and naturally empathetic and compassionate, which explains why the love they offer, their kindness, their inner strength, and their wisdom are so healing. They offer emotional support to humans and to each other.”

But it gets better.

As I praised the Lord later in the evening for His kindness, He reminded me that they were found on PRINCE Street…and I am currently writing articles on Jesus being our PRINCE OF PEACE!   My friend Gloria always says that’s how she remembers where I live, up Mary Lane (the mother of Jesus) to Prince Street (the Prince of Peace).

It is remarkable how God speaks to us very softly in our day to day lives; like living on streets that depict His name.  I think we don’t see what is clearly in front of us nor are we always conscious of His subtle messages and this was one of them.
