As believers, we are to be expecting miracles, if not walking in them in a consistent manner. This is scripture.
“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.” John 14:12-14.
“You are My witnesses,” says the Lord, “And My servant whom I have chosen, that you may know and believe Me, and understand that I am He. Before Me there was no God formed, nor shall there be after Me.” Isaiah 43:10.
My husband and I have always been very responsible pet owners. Because we have owned physically strong and tenacious dogs we have sought to secure a property with extra care.
For example, double fenced dog enclosures, concrete strip around the perimeter of the whole property so they cannot dig out. Fences high enough that they cannot jump over them, etc.
This particular miraculous event happened when we briefly rented a property while waiting for a move to a new home. Does Jesus our Lord care about our pets? You bet He does!
We had two dogs when we first moved to San Diego; Cabo and Bahia. In 1990, Cabo was killed by a rattlesnake. Prior to Cabo’s death, God gave me a vision of both dogs being out of our yard and running free, to my great horror.
We were renting a condominium at the time and the yard was fenced and as secured as best we could do in a rented property. But this day I was at work and saw in a vision both dogs running around the neighborhood. Yikes! Who let the dogs out?
Not knowing if that was true, I rushed home only to find a bungee cord around our gate with a note from the neighbor. She told us that she had found both dogs running around the neighborhood! Somehow, she coaxed them back to the yard and secured the gate. The vision had been true.
The Lord had miraculously provided a kind neighbor to secure our pets, but He also gave a vision to prompt me to return home.
This was an unexpected miracle that I am so grateful for. But again, as believers, we are to walk in the supernatural and expect God to go before us and provide a way for our deliverance and for our pets.
O Lord, You preserve both man and beast. Psalm 36:6b.
I will end with a funny song: Baha Men - Who Let The Dogs Out (Official Video)
