A Revival Pool

December 2006, the Lord told me in my prayer time to get out a devotional book a friend gave me, “Everyday Light” and go to the page for that day.  It read “Prayer God delights to Answer:  Wake up O Lord and shake Yourself!  Can’t You see what is happening to Your church?  It is shameful that You allow things to go on like this.  Do something; do anything, but just do it!”.  I was to start praying for revival. “He shall come down like rain upon the grass before mowing, like showers that water the earth.”  Psalm 72:6.

In 2007, I started acquiring a desire for a swimming pool. Mind you, we have lived in our house since 1990 and had no desire for a pool.  I believe the Lord wanted me to build a pool, and to have baptisms in the pool when revival comes. So, Bobby approved and my sis Mindy designed the pool with God’s help in 2008. 

This was God’s project so, He had to guide me. I needed to select tile for the pool and wanted it to match our home. The Lord told me to go to the place where I bought the outside tiles in 1990.  I was obedient and there on display years later was my original tile and it had three sister tiles which were in the same family, to represent my three sisters.  My tile selection was complete, and we did a collage of the four sister tiles in the pool.

Next, the Pebble Tech plaster was poured and had to stay wet. We built the pool in the summer of 2008, no rain possible! But the day the plaster was poured God rained lightly on the pool to keep the plaster from drying too fast!  Remember, rain means revival!

Rain down, you heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness; Let the earth open, let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together. I, the Lord, have created it. Isaiah 45;8.

Also related to revival is lightning indicative of God’s power. At the start of praying for revival, I had a vision.  I saw huge black clouds overhead and lightening!

Ask the LORD for rain in the time of the latter rain. The LORD will make flashing clouds; (lightening)! Zechariah 10:1. 

Once the pool was complete, I started getting anxious about how we were going to take care of such a large body of water.  I prayed and prayed for a pool man who would be a believer and liked pit bulls. On the day of setup, a contractor for the pool company arrived to setup the motor, etc. It was August. It started to rain again! I was standing with the pool man, who said he saw lightening flash right above my head and lit it up. 

Then the LORD will be seen over them, and His arrow will go forth like lightning. Zechariah 9:14.

Later I asked if they did monthly pool service and he said they did.  I then asked if he liked pit bulls and he said he had one just like Titus!  Here was my pool man. Oh, and he was a believer too.
