A Letter from The Lord...From Trash to Treasure

During the early years at Iron Mountain, I was receiving a few personal prophecy letters from the Lord a week, for customers and employees of IM. Both Susan and Taunya knew of this unusual spiritual gift I operated in. 

One in particular was to a woman named Stephanie, who worked in the Orange County office. I did not know her well but Taunya did. I received the letter while sitting at a stop sign before turning into the IM parking lot. God addressed Stephanie personally. I certainly was at a loss as to how to deliver such a letter to a near stranger at work! How do you explain such a thing? Was she even a believer?

I told Taunya about the letter and that I was dumbfounded on how to get it to Stephanie. Taunya knew of the letters and scripture addresses I received because I got them for her too. She suggested we put the letter in the box she was using to send Stephanie her baby gift. I didn’t know the baby was sick at the time but Taunya told me the child was ill once I read the letter to her. Taunya was taking a huge chance by allowing me to put this letter in her baby gift box!

Every time a letter went forth, I would pray fervently for the recipient and how to deliver God‘s words…this one received an exceptional amount of prayer because I was scared at the reaction I would get.

A few days after the gift was mailed, Taunya received a phone call from Stephanie. Here is what happened: Stephanie received the gift and threw away the box with the letter still inside.

She was in the bathroom on the morning of trash pickup when she had a strange thought, “You always throw away boxes without looking through the whole box.” She was compelled to go out to the trash and look through the box; when she did, she found the letter.

As Stephanie sat crying on her couch after reading the letter, her husband came home and cried too, they both called us to tell us thank you for taking the chance at sending the letter and that it answered their prayers! The letter went from trash to treasure!

We were floored at how God worked out getting the letter to this couple. The Lord had also announced the baby’s healing in the letter, which brought them comfort.

“Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.” Psalms 50:15.
