What drives our world?  God, of course!  So, we can say that the spiritual world drives the physical world.  Think about it, we pray the Lord’s Prayer…'Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven'.  Heaven first…the spiritual first, then it is manifested on the earth, in the physical.

Therefore, I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them. Mark 11:24.

Faith speaks first and then it is manifested in the physical realm.  In the Kingdom of Peace, the spiritual comes first via faith, trust, quietness and confidence which in turn is manifested in the physical.  That is the principle guiding the Kingdom of God and of peace.

Now peace is the substance of trusting in God (for whatever anxiety I have), and evidenced by quietness and confidence.  This description of peace I derived from Hebrews 11:1 (the description of faith) and Isaiah 30:15 (a description of peace).

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1.

For thus says the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel: “In returning and rest you shall be saved; In quietness and confidence shall be your strength…” Isaiah 30:15.

So, there is the action of quietness (as in ‘Be still and know I am God’) and confidence to enter His peace and there are other actions that I need to practice to live in His peace.  One is keeping my mind on Him: You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. Trust in the Lord forever, for in Yah, the Lord, is everlasting strength. Isaiah 26:3-4.

Seeking further I heard: ‘Trust Without Borders’.  Trust without borders means to fully surrender.  To trust the Lord with everything in me, without allowing anything to stop me.  Without letting fear, anxiety, worry, my body, circumstances, or even my comfort or suffering (my borders) get in the way of my trust in the Lord.  This is my first obligation in the Covenant of Peace.

Now acquaint yourself with Him and be at peace; thereby good will come to you. Job 22:21.

“Quiet confidence and trust in God greatly aid the development and expression of faith, whereas fear and anxiety impede it. Stillness within, is prerequisite to stilling conditions around you. Be still within yourself, so you can command stillness in your world. Jesus Christ is seriously intent on mending that which is broken or lost in your body.

Some are not experiencing healing in their bodies because they are trying too much to make mental sense of what they are going through. Stop trying to work things out in your own limited, logical mind – things you may never understand. Surrendering your right to understand, trusting in the Lord, acknowledging and fearing Him in all your ways is the pathway to your healing.”  Healing Part 2 - Peace of God.pdf (randolphbarnwell.com).

As my first commitment in the Covenant of Peace, I see that peace and healing requires trust without borders.  Borders are the fences in my life that keep things in and keep things out, like a border.  A fence, a border or bondage could be anything I deem, consciously or unconsciously, as a barrier to peace in Christ.  I may think I have open borders in my heart, but God knows my fences and bonds better than I do!  He is the Border, Fence and Bondage Breaker.

‘For it shall come to pass in that day,’ says the Lord of hosts, ‘That I will break his yoke from your neck and will burst your bonds’.  Jeremiah 30:8.

Be still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!  Psalm 46:10.

There are however, more actions required on my part to uphold the covenant and I will share those next time.  Shalom.
