In a previous post, I mentioned that the Lord wanted me to keep a feast as a prelude to entering into His Covenant of Peace.  “The Lord gave an address of Deuteronomy 16:15 about keeping the Feast of Tabernacles (aka Sukkot, Feast of Booths)...Seven days you shall keep a sacred feast to the Lord your God in the place which the Lord chooses, because the Lord your God will bless you in all your produce and in all the work of your hands, so that you surely rejoice.  The Feast which is in the autumn season fell on October 10, 2022.

And, the counsel of peace shall be between them both.  Zechariah 6:13b.  Sounds like the Lord wants me to keep the feast and enter into a Covenant of Peace with Him!”

October 10th arrived, and I invited my sister Wendy to feast with me.  Then, I completed the Covenant of Peace with the Lord and signed it.  We were ready to celebrate the signing and the feast.  In addition, the Lord wanted to baptize Wendy in the Holy Spirit during this celebration.  How do I know?  Here she is in her own words:

“On the morning of Oct. 6, 2022, I was making coffee and started saying out loud ‘roach ha-kodesh’.  I had no idea what it meant.  I think I heard it a while ago from Jonathan Cahn but I almost NEVER remember the Hebrew words he uses when he is doing his messages.  But this Hebrew word was one that just flowed like water out of my mouth.

When I researched what is meant (mind you, I did not even know how to spell it) I found that it meant ‘The Holy Spirit.’  In Judaism, the Holy Spirit (Hebrew: רוח הקודש ‎, ruach ha-kodesh) refers to the Divine force, quality, and influence of God over the universe or over God's creatures.

After learning this, I told Pam and she believed that the Lord was telling me He wanted me to ask for the baptism of the Holy Spirit.  I gladly accepted this and on Monday 10/10/2022, while celebrating the Feast of the Tabernacles, Pam performed this.  During the prayer, with my eyes closed, I reached out my hands and arms so as to accept the Holy Spirit.  I stretched them towards Pam who was praying at the time, her eyes were closed, too.

While Pam started asking for the baptism of fire for me, she had a vision.  She saw a basket of gifts being handed to me from Jesus’ arms…filled with colorfully wrapped gifts.  A large deep woven basket filled to the top was being offered to me.  We finished the prayer and opened our eyes.

Neither of us knew what the other was doing nor going to say during the prayer time.  It was as if we were one with the Holy Spirit and each other.  I asked her if she knew I had my hands outstretched towards her and she said ‘No!’  We both knew then that the Lord and His Spirit had visited us during this enchanted evening.”

To give you a little more background on the feast, it is also known as the outpouring of waters.  “The Jews counted the outpouring of the waters of Siloam as symbolic of the coming outpouring of the Spirit when Messiah came.  The Feast of Tabernacles was also the outpouring of rain.  It is worthy to note that Jesus spoke these things concerning the rivers of the Spirit during the Feast of Tabernacles, not the feast of Passover and not the feast of Pentecost…it finds it’s fullness in the Tabernacles outpouring of the Spirit or the RAIN of God…Christ will come to His people in a NEW VISITATION, there will be increased insight into His doctrine and there will be a mighty flow of the river of the Spirit of God…” Feasts of Israel (by Kevin J. Conner).

On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, ‘If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.’ John 7:37-38.

Is it a coincidence that a few days before and after the feast, we experienced some rare rain?  I believe the Lord was setting us up for the atmospheric rivers of rain we received last month (Jan. 2023); and soon to come, His Spirit if we keep His feast in faithful anticipation of His promises.  I am blessed that my sister was a part of this celebration😊

The secret of the Lord is with those who fear Him, and He will show them His covenant. Psalm 25:14.
