When I watched the inaugural ball, I was surprised and entertained to see President Trump dancing with a sword. At first, I found it hilarious but then the Lord kept pointing it out to me. Donald Trump dances with sword at inaugural ball.

Next, I heard the song the Battle of the Republic that played at his inauguration, the first stanza: “He has loosed the fateful lightning of His terrible swift SWORD.” Interesting I thought! ICONIC: The Battle Hymn of the Republic at Trump Inauguration 2025.

Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord;

He is trampling out the vintage where the grapes of wrath are stored;

He hath loosed the fateful lightning of His terrible swift sword:

His truth is marching on.

(Chorus)

Glory, glory, hallelujah!

Glory, glory, hallelujah!

Glory, glory, hallelujah!

His truth is marching on.

Then a scripture address came.

Isaiah 49:1-2 The Lord has called Me from the womb; from the matrix of My mother He has made mention of My name. And He has made My mouth like a sharp SWORD; in the shadow of His hand He has hidden Me, and made Me a polished shaft; in His quiver He has hidden Me.”

More confirmation arose when I watched Jonathan Cahn’s message on Trump becoming President. He also noted the dance with the sword at the inauguration ball. He called it ‘The sword of Jehu’.

“Trump’s Inaugural Symbolism: A Divine Foreshadowing? One of the most remarkable moments Cahn highlights is an image of Trump holding a sword during one of the inaugural balls.

In biblical times, the sword represented authority, justice and divine intervention. Jehu was known for wielding the sword of judgment against those who had led Israel astray. Is it possible that Trump’s return signals a renewed battle against the forces that have come against the biblical values of America?”  Jonathan Cahn's Prophetic Word: Donald Trump's Return - Charisma Magazine.

And another scripture address came: Numbers 21:24. Then Israel defeated him with the edge of the SWORD, and took possession of his land…

I read further, look at verses: 27 Therefore those who speak in proverbs say: “Come to Heshbon, let it be built; Let the city of Sihon be REPAIRED. Earthmover Dream.

28 “For FIRE went out from Heshbon, A flame from the city of Sihon… City of Angels Wildfire.

The Lord uses biblical paradigms in scripture to explain what is currently going on in the spiritual realm.  The definition of a “paradigm” is a framework for understanding something in the world and it is how God frames a reality. A “paradigm” is a framework for understanding current circumstances.

Now it happened, as soon as he had made an end of offering the burnt offering, that Jehu said to the guard and to the captains, “Go in and… they killed them with the edge of the sword; then the guards and the officers threw them out, and went into the inner room of the temple of Baal. 2 Kings 10:25.

Jehu was a tool in the hands of God. “God had chosen Jehu to be the tool to fulfill prophecy! Jehu began to execute the program that God had handed to him through the words of a prophet.

Many saw this as only a revolt of the military against its own government but in fact it was the “Judgement of God”! Once Jehu was anointed King of Israel, he became a sword from Heaven!” Jehu A Tool In The Hands Of God.

The morning of February 28th, I woke to the Lord’s voice. I heard “Is it peace Jehu? Is it peace?” What unfolded on that day suggested there was no peace… Yet! Trump-Zelensky White House meeting descends into shouting match.

The President has said the one thing he would like to be remembered for in this presidency is as a peacemaker. We can already see it pursued in the Russia, Ukraine effort, as well as the Israel and Gaza situation. In addition, the Abraham Accords which will be reinstated in the coming days with new Middle Eastern partners.

Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called sons of God. Matthew 5:6.

"Have you come in peace, Jehu?" Jehu's response is telling: "How can there be peace as long as all the idolatry and witchcraft of your mother Jezebel abound?" 2 Kings 9:22,

There was no peace in Israel until Jehu brought divine justice with a sword. to the wicked previous leadership. Once dismantled, peace was realized in the land for a time, which led to peace with the surrounding nations.

Look at this within the current context of the President’s first months in office. During the time of Jehu’s authority, the Lord brought clarity, retribution, and a return to God. Renewal, a revival of sorts, which is what I pray the Lord is doing in our country. I see God’s Hand moving with similarity. The Lord does not want us to look away. Keep watching!
