Discovery of 3,800-year-old artifact mentioned in Bible story

“Archaeologists have discovered a rare artifact that is found throughout the Bible's Old Testament. They discovered a 3,800-year-old textile colored with 'scarlet worm,' a dye that is mentioned 25 times in scripture, in a cave in Israel. The red dye was created from the carcasses and eggs of an insect, which people would grind up into a power to color garments.

The textile featured woolen threads dyed red, which had been weaved through uncolored linen threads to form a lattice-like design.

The Israel Antiquities Authority (IAA) announced the findings on Thursday, after finding the less than two-centimeter textile hiding in the 'Cave of Skulls' in the Judean Desert. The 'scarlet worm' mentioned in the Bible is a scale insect, which lives in oak trees, with the main species of the ancient world being Kermes.

The females and their eggs produce carminic acid, which gives the dye its red color. People would collect the bugs, sprinkle them with vinegar, dry out the carcasses and then grind the remains into a powder used to color cloth and garments. 'The red hue, ranging from orange to pink and crimson, has held significant historical symbolism and importance, the team shared in the study published in the peer-reviewed Journal of Archaeological Science.

'The red color from the scale insects which are based on molecules such as kermesic acid or carminic acid are both stable and beautiful, making them much more prestigious than vegetal dye sources.'

The scarlet dye is known as as shani or tola’at shani in Hebrew (meaning crimson worm) and is featured throughout the Old Testament either alone or in conjunction with other precious dyes, including the blue and purple dyes from marine snails.

In Leviticus 14:16 states: 'As for the living bird, he shall take it, and the cedar wood, and the scarlet, and the hyssop, and shall dip them and the living bird in the blood of the bird killed over the running water.'

The deep red color is also mentioned in Exodus a handful of times, specifically in Chapter 26, verse 1: 'Make the tabernacle with ten curtains of finely twisted linen and blue, purple and scarlet yarn, with cherubim woven into them by a skilled worker.'

5/11/25 Hugs from Heaven ~ Only a Mothers’ Love!

There are times when only a mother’s love can comfort us. There are times when one yearns to feel the presence of loved ones who have moved to heaven. As such, I’ve had a recent visit from my Momma that I want to share.

I was in a room when I looked up and Momma entered the room. She was all in white. She walked over to my side and I stood up to give her a hug. As I hugged her, I told her “I can’t get close enough to you because of your shelf!”

It’s a funny statement because I used to call her large bosom, her shelf. I felt her warm embrace in her large bosom as she hugged me. I don’t recall her saying anything to me, though I wanted her to speak, and then she left.

I woke up to Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. James 1:17.

And then later: Hebrews 11:6. And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him.

Momma: I can't wait to see you again. Blessed Mother's Day to you! I know God sent this parental dream to comfort me, thank YOU, Lord!

4/24/25 Chosen for Affliction

The same morning of the dream, FIRE SEASON, a ‘fire professional’ (retired fireman friend) sent me an email with the same scripture I got in prayer: Isaiah 48:10: Behold, I have refined you, but not as silver; I have tested you in the furnace of affliction. The article titled “Chosen for Affliction.”

From Mike: “For whatever reason God has chosen us to bear in our body's sufferings for His glory. From now on let no one trouble me, for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus. Galatians 6:17.  It’s where I have lived for 32 years with Jesus as my constant companion.  He’s given me His attitude about the cancer and walked me through the tuff times. Carried me through the unbearable times of pain as a witness to all who watched the many surgeries and treatments.  What a ride on the path many others have travelled as well.  When Jesus heard that, He said, “This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God may be glorified through it.” John 11:4.

March 3, 2025

Isaiah 48:10: Behold, I have refined you, but not as silver; I have tested you in the furnace of affliction.

Comfort yourself, tried believer, with this thought: God says, “I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction” [KJV]. Does not the Word come like a soft shower, assuaging the fury of the flame? Yea, is it not a protective shield, against which the heat has no power? Let affliction come—God has chosen me. Poverty, you may stride in at my door, but God is in the house already, and He has chosen me. Sickness, you may intrude, but I have balsam ready—God has chosen me. Whatever befalls me in this vale of tears, I know that He has “chosen” me.

If, believer, you require still greater comfort, remember that you have the Son of Man with you in the furnace. In that silent chamber of yours, there sits by your side One whom you have not seen, but whom you love; and often when you do not know it, He comforts you in your affliction and softens the place of rest. You are in poverty; but in your lovely house the Lord of life and glory is a frequent visitor. He loves to come into these desolate places, that He may visit you. Your friend sticks closely to you. You cannot see Him, but you may feel the pressure of His hands. Do you not hear His voice? Even in the valley of the shadow of death He says, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God.”

Remember that noble speech of Caesar: “Fear not, you carry Caesar and all his fortune.” Fear not, Christian; Jesus is with you. In all your difficult trials, His presence is both your comfort and safety. He will never leave one whom He has chosen for His own. “Fear not, for I am with you” is His sure word of promise to His chosen ones in the “furnace of affliction.” Will you not, then, take hold of Christ and say:

Through floods and flames, if Jesus leads,
I’ll follow where He goes.

“We’re honoring Jesus Christ,” and we will “honor Jesus Christ very powerfully throughout our lives,” President Donald Trump said during remarks ahead of Monday’s White House Easter Egg Roll.

4/20/25 “Melania and I would like to wish everyone a very Happy Easter! Whether you are heading out to Church or, watching Service from home, may this day be full of Peace and Joy for all who celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. HE IS RISEN!!” he wrote.

"At the National Prayer Breakfast in February, Trump outright cited the assassination attempt. “It changed something in me, I feel,” he said. “I feel even stronger. I believed in God, but I feel much more strongly about it.”

Trump said during the joint session of Congress in March, “I believe that my life was saved that day in Butler for a very good reason. … I was saved by God to make America great again. I believe that.”

“Happy Easter! "He is not here; he has risen!" - Luke 24:6

President Trump … restored God’s place in the White House with his calling for the best celebration of Holy Week in presidential history which included the White House Easter Prayer Dinner.”

There is no doubt REVIVAL is on its way! Trump's Strong Holy Week Message.

There is no doubt REVIVAL is on its way. President Trump on Friday called for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. I am beside myself with REVIVAL anticipation!

Trump's Strong Holy Week Message: Recognize Jesus' Suffering, Redemption.

"This Holy Week, Melania and I join in prayer with Christians celebrating the crucifixion and resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ — the living Son of God who conquered death, freed us from sin, and unlocked the gates of Heaven for all of humanity.

Beginning with Christ's triumphal entry into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday and culminating in the Paschal Triduum, which begins on Holy Thursday with the Mass of the Lord's Supper, followed by Good Friday, and reaching its pinnacle in the Easter Vigil on Holy Saturday night. This week is a time of reflection for Christians to memorialize Jesus' crucifixion—and to prepare their hearts, minds, and souls for His miraculous Resurrection from the dead.

During this sacred week, we acknowledge that the glory of Easter Sunday cannot come without the sacrifice Jesus Christ made on the cross. In His final hours on Earth, Christ willingly endured excruciating pain, torture, and execution on the cross out of a deep and abiding love for all His creation. Through His suffering, we have redemption. Through His death, we are forgiven of our sins. Through His Resurrection, we have hope of eternal life. On Easter morning, the stone is rolled away, the tomb is empty, and light prevails over darkness — signaling that death does not have the final word.

This Holy Week, my Administration renews its promise to defend the Christian faith in our schools, military, workplaces, hospitals, and halls of government. We will never waver in safeguarding the right to religious liberty, upholding the dignity of life, and protecting God in our public square.

As we focus on Christ's redeeming sacrifice, we look to His love, humility, and obedience — even in life's most difficult and uncertain moments. This week, we pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon our beloved Nation. We pray that America will remain a beacon of faith, hope, and freedom for the entire world, and we pray to achieve a future that reflects the truth, beauty, and goodness of Christ's eternal kingdom in Heaven.

May God bless you and your family during this special time of year and may He continue to bless the United States of America." Trump's Strong Holy Week Message: Recognize Jesus' Suffering, Redemption | Newsmax.com

4/8/25 Ambassadors to Hollywood Follow-up

On 2/14/25, I posted Ambassadors to Hollywood. “President Trump has selected to bring light to Hollywood; he appointed Mel Gibson, Sylvester Stallone, and Jon Voight to be "Special Ambassadors" to iconic Tinseltown.

“During an interview with Mel Gibson, he shared he lost his home during the massive and deadly fires that broke out in the Los Angeles on Jan. 7. However, he said it has been a "blessing" in disguise. He sees the loss of his home as a preparation for The Resurrection of the Christ: “I feel like I’m being stripped down… I feel like the Almighty is preparing me to do something big.”

As I sat in my prayer closet the last part of March, I asked God ‘What are the Ambassadors to Hollywood doing, Lord?’  I hadn’t read anything about any progress. A couple days later I got my answer.

On 3/26/25, “Mel Gibson’s ‘Passion of the Christ’ Sequel to Start Shooting This Summer at Rome’s Cinecittà Studios. “The Passion of the Christ” will resurrect this summer.” Mel Gibson's Passion of the Christ Sequel to Shoot This Summer in Rome

“While further details remain unknown at present, Gibson has also teased two vastly different versions of The Resurrection of the Christ. Writing two scripts for the sequel, Gibson has described one as "very structured and a very strong script, and kind of more what you'd expect,” while the other “is like an acid trip. Because you’re going into other realms and stuff. I mean, you’re in hell, and you’re watching the angels fall. It’s like, crazy.” We wait with bated breath to find out which version he chose.”

Mel Gibson To Shoot 'The Passion of the Christ' Sequel in Summer 2025

In an interview with podcaster Joe Rogan, Gibson said he intends to employ a wide scope for the film about the Son of God’s resurrection. “I think in order to really tell the story properly you have to start with the fall of the angels, which means you’re in another place, you’re in another realm. You need to go to hell. You need to go to Sheol,” Gibson said. Mel Gibson to Begin Shooting 'The Resurrection of the Christ' in August; Joe Rogan Experience #2254 - Mel Gibson

Let’s pray for Mel that he is filled with a fresh anointing from the Holy Spirit to do His work in the entertainment industry. I can’t wait to see the film which I believe will bring transformation and revival, which will touch the lives of millions around the world. To God be the glory!

White House of Worship: Christian Prayer Rings Out Under Trump - The New York Times

“Now as for you daughter, the words that I have spoken in the past regarding the revival that your eyes will see are being confirmed to you by many sources.  I have not spoken in secret and have proven to you that your hearing is correct.  All you have heard, all that you have seen and all that I have promised is My will upon the earth.  I will bring it to pass.”

"Believe Me for the works I do and believe Me for who I am in you.  But greater works than these you will do.  Just believe. Believe miracles are for today.  Believing is receiving, your joy will be full.”

The Spirit who yearns jealously for us.

Therefore, I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them. Mark 11:24.
